PROMPTS AND RULES FOR MUSHISHIWEEK 2026
Hi! Thank you so much for the suggested prompts and you‘re patience, they're all super fun!
We continue to make two-word prompts this year. This way more of your suggested words make it into the list and the themes are more narrowed down.
This year‘s event will be held from Sunday, 24th of August - 30th of August.
Day 1: good doctor / sickness comfort
Day 2: old art redraw / personal histories
Day 3: insomnia waves / overflowing passageway
Day 4: twilight sweetness / parasite thief
Day 5: teaching hands / silent chasm
Day 6: transparent reflection / submerged wind
(Note re: old art redraw - this refers to one of your own past mushishi art pieces you have done, and does not have to be from mushishi-week specifically! Have fun, and if you feel like it include the old art in the posts as well!)
For each day, you may use one of the two provided prompts, or you may even combine the two!
PLEASE TAG US OR USE #mushishiweek2026 FOR YOUR WORKS!!! That way we can see and share them.
Just make sure to post your works on the day of the according prompts and not before. (Example: posting day 4 on day 2 already)
Late entries are however okay and welcomed, and we will reblog entries up until a month late.
Feel free to share sketches, unfinished writing and otherwise unrendered works if fully completed ones are not in your power - this event is meant to reflect the healing energy its source material radiates, after all!
Please refrain from posting AI-generated content in this event. If we see such works, we will NOT engage with it.
