For the non-paleo nerds, Lambeosaurus was a Late Cretaceous hadrosaur with a crest on their heads which scientists think they used it like trumpets to honk at each other or as part of a courtship display! Think of them as the slightly more niche cousins of the Parasaurolophus (you know, the famous one with the long backward tube on its head from Jurassic Park)

→ ‹Vahl’ti S’Shara 💙› The only "Canon x OC" ship I've ever really had was my Tav Kelerin with Astarion (although that timeline isn't canon anymore!). Since Maul has been my favorite Star Wars character since childhood, I decided it was time to create a new OC for him. Meet Vahl'ti, a not-so-friendly Togruta-Chiss hybrid! I don't know if she’ll have a fixed age, according to her lore, she’s in her early 30s while Maul is 37 or 38 in Shadow Lord. Kenobi found her when she was like 16? 17? That's why she never has proper training using the force or any lightsaber. Just to be clear: they are a total doom ship. This relationship is 50% healthy and 50% toxic (for now). Vahl’ti is canonically dead by the time Star Wars Rebels starts because there is actually NO WAY she survives the chaos of being Maul’s right hand. She’s here for a good time (mostly drinking), not a long time. If any of you have Star Wars OCs, I'm super curious to read about them in the comments! Drop their lore!

Hoping to see Maul pull the strings and manipulate Devon, and I'm also praying that Devon is NOT Darth Talon, I don't want them to change and ruin her backstory!

Surprisingly this illustration was a bit complicated and time consuming to draw, I really struggled to come up with ideas and put everything together so that it looked coherent and pretty to look at. But I'm happy with the result! I am trying more and more to make compositions in this style, with symbolism, I find it simpler in terms of lore to leave it to interpretation by not giving all the details of a drawing. So I would be curious to know your feelings, what you think first when you see this drawing and how you interpret the whole thing!

OC: Kelerin Vandree (Half-drow) and Aalhyan (Dragon)

→ ‹ The Raging Soul › Ephryzaar is now a they/he/she! Everyone assumed Ephryzaar was a woman at first, which makes sense from their appearance, but I had the chance to explore more about their identity as I developed their backstory! Their goal in the campaign is to reach Waterdeep in hopes of finding a sapphire fragment of Skulos's soul that is rumored to be hidden within Mount Waterdeep, in the hopes of having a sibling (with draconic blood). I decided that Ephryzaar also has Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. It was super exciting to learn about it and be able to create a character around this type of intersex variation. Ephryzaar also struggles with the concept of gender since they don't care about it and have trouble finding a place for themself because of the status as a Tiefling with Draconic bloodline. Just to clarify, AIS is part of who Ephryzaar is, but not the “reason” they identify as agender, I want to keep the character from falling into reductive stereotypes and centers their identity as their own! My players will have the opportunity to discover more of the backstory and struggles during the campaign! <3
