We finally got our Christmas up! We finally were able to officially adopt our baby boy Daxton Norell Checketts! We seriously couldn’t be more overjoyed and overwhelmed with love!! Thank you to everyone who has supported us through all of this! #adoption #kinshipadoption #kinshipfostercare

Dax had his 9 month appointment today! He was 22 lbs (85%), 30in (94%), and his head is 19in (99%)! He is such a happy baby! He’s gabbing lots! He can say mama and dada and sometimes baba. He can army crawl. He LOVES to jump! He loves any fruit baby foods and his puffs! We love him tons and we can’t wait until he’s officially ours!

We’re excited to announce that Dax will be joining our family for FOREVER!

Is 8 weeks today!! Time sure has flown by! We’ve had him for almost 5 weeks now and we couldn’t love him more! He is sleeping 5-6 hours in a row at night! He’s such a good baby and we feel so grateful to have him in our arms. 💜
