Happy World Ocean Day! The ocean has been perfecting 🪼 this 🪼 design for more than 500 million years. That's right, sea jellies are older than the dinosaurs! They have adapted to our entire world ocean: from tropical to Arctic temperatures, deep sea to shallow reefs, and freshwater to saltwater, jellies are found in every ocean environment.

A sort of part 2 to the dca sky moth au. For a moment I was trying to decide if it could be them as spirits related to the season of carnival— or theater,, or them as the same moths the DCA plays as in the literal game but used a bit of hacking to customize their own cosmetics.

Anyway, a very very short bit of lore for them as spirits here: Both were originally apprentices from the village theater.

The two were struggling with their acts and lacked excitement in their stories. Maybe it was because of the too peaceful village, but Sun and Moon somehow found a crab and followed it curiously. They caught it at the top of Hermit Valley but slipped on the hill and got sucked into a wind path then ended up in the wastelands after mistakenly making a turn. Sun is not liking the fact they’re lost but was thrilled at the idea of this journey being an inspo for his stories while Moon finds enough crabs and a baby krill to tame.

After almost drowning, a few krill dodging, running, and befriending some crabs later, they return safely to the village but the theater troupe was left worried sick leading a search party with a bunch of concerned moths in tow. Following the reunion, and the slight shock of seeing Sun and Moon on top a dark dragon in the valley, the two jesters shared their story of thrills and krills to the masses.
