No one can convince me that Kelly O’Driscoll (from the gorillaz lore) is not a salty LA chick who moved to the I’m when she was like 13 and was just spiteful enough to keep her valley girl accent, she can tone it down she just chooses not to around people she doesn’t like… she is INSUFFERABLE during her boxing matches, on purpose, also I think the way Murdoc and her actually started dating was him awkwardly asking her out at prom after year 11... I don't get why people, regarding 2doc, treat 2D as being more feminine. Yeah, they're thinner and prettier, but if either of them is "more feminine", which isn't required, it's Murdoc. He wears heels, jewelry, and animal prints, paints his nails, admits to wearing makeup (at least foundation during Cracker Island), and is far more emotional than 2D. He coordinates his outfits to the vibe of what's happening, I know stylists exist, but I doubt there was one on Plastic Beach, and he **still** wore nautical themed outfits the whole time. They both have their feminine sides, but I'm sick of seeing fanfics and fanart treating Murdoc like he's the "man" of the relationship when they're both men.

Lil rant about why my insert is called Kelly (and why i named myself Kelly)

Basically, Murdoc's canonical first an longest lasting live is called Kelly O'Driscoll, it canon that they were in love at 16 years old, and his love ha been repeatedly expressed openly until 2020, and in an interview stating that both she wa his first kiss and he misses her, and in the 2020 Almanac asking her to call him and speak again to go out for a date, I found this very sweet and wanted to build a character around Kelly, turned out I was a fictionkin of her, this is also the reason why I dislike it so much when people say Murdoc is heartless and incapable of feeling genuine love
