It's been a while, lost in a deep dark forest with nothing but my own nightmares to keep me company. It was a long and tedious... whoever gave me directions, sucks. My search for Team Rocket wasn't getting anywhere soon... and once I finally broke through the trees into... some kind of town. I was so excited, I quickly put up a disguise as a human and ran for the town, basking in the presence of people and tamed pokemon.

Hoo okay now that I have a brand-spanking new laptop and got all my programs and stuff carried over, I felt like doing that Pokemon Crackship Kid meme again to stir up my artistic drive after being away so long since I’m such a sucker for character design, but… I felt bad reblogging Snow-ish’s so often. <:D; So I made my own instead.

I stand awkwardly, not used to other pokemon approaching me this way.

"I uhh…" My eyes a bit shifty, not quite sure what she’s getting at, but speaking as logically as I can comprehend it.

"No… this is just how I look… and I’v been in a lot of fights…" I nod with approval at my answer, trying to give a polite, yet crooked bcause of my burned face, smile.

Leila seems to be suddenly reminded of something (OOC: fyi, it was basically a close call involving a stray Overheat attack that would’ve badly injured her had a Mightyena not taken the attack for her). “Oh… you really do have those scars. They must be painful, huh? Did you have someone with you that could’ve helped you avoid getting them?” She had never seen battle scars like these on any Pokemon, so she had no clue what this Zoroark had to have gone through to end up with them.

"They hurt sometimes... mostly the burn. But only if I focus on it... one of those things that doesn't quite ever go away. And... yes. But because of my coat everything was directed onto me..." The subject seems to pain me, as many times I have talked about it to so many pokemon and people, it just never dulls the ache in my heart when I speak of it.

"But... I'm sure you don't want to hear such a depressing story...~ You seemed very happy when you were approaching."
