#it's So Hard #as someone currently writing a Gale POV it's a nemian lion I wrestle with every time I sit down to write and it's frankly exhausting #let me INNNN you fuck #Bucky is similar but in the oposite direction #you gotta unbury the anxiety in him #but people in the fic space are more used to doing that with characters and so it's easier I think #usually when you're plumbing the depths of a male character you take the braggadocio and the loudness and the violence #and strip it back for trauma #with Gale you have to kind of do the opposite #and it requires muscles that are very rarely exercised
