Leb und lass los

October 29th:

This morning I made tremendous progress on my Butler essay. I have reached half the word count already, and will spend the afternoon writing more.

I got my Derrida exegesis back and it received a 10/10! The professor, who is known for strict grading, called it a terrific piece of writing.

i'm feeling anxious again. it comes with the mid-term evaluation. i was feeling pretty good about it until now. i received 3 reviews and all of them are overall positive, which means that i'll most probably get a positive overall "grade". i also got some feedback telling me what i should improve and i just feel frozen by the even slightest possibility of failing. that is definitely something i need to overcome but i'm having a hard time thinking about it right now

on the other hand, i'm reading pride and prejudice for the first time. i also watched frankenstein and it was a wonderful experience
