be careful of powder tho y'all. make sure you know the ingredients!! some of that shit is NOT safe (cancer causing powders r out there), and also some of it you shuldnt put on if you already have skin issues there.
Sorry for the insta fast reblog but this also! Iâd only recommend using powders if theyâre reputable and you should 100% check online for anything like that! Also itâs best to only use powders on the area after the yeast infection has already cleared in order to prevent future ones.
Something no one tells you about having large breasts (DDD or E in my case) and actively binding, is that everything is so close together and so restricted for so long, especially if you wear them daily, that itâs likely you will get an underchest yeast infection. Itâs especially likely if you live in a hotter climate or if you do work where you sweat a lot because yeasts forte is dark damp crevices which is exactly what your underchest area is going to be like if youâre sweating in a binder. I personally have had multiple yeast infections since I started binding and I was incredibly embarrassed about it because I had literally never heard of someone having an underchest yeast infection before and I ultimately chalked it up to meaning I was unhygienic which is just borderline not the case. I would suggest if you can to wear a more breathable material when binding, something like cotton would be ideal or even a binder with a cotton lining. I would also recommend to make sure youâre completely dry after showering because even the lingering water under your chest makes it an ideal place for yeast growth, and if you have to you can also use a drying powder like baby powder if youâre prone to sweating a lot. Also to my fat friends on here (I am too) please be sure to take measures to make sure any and all folds on your body are completely dry after showering as these make ideal spots for yeast infections as well! This goes for anyone of course but especially us fat folks.
Symptoms of a non-vaginal yeast infection include a rash with redness and skin breakdown, Patches that ooze clear fluid, pimples, and Itching or burning.
I know yeast infections arenât some big life changing event but they are a bitch to take care of and itâs common that once you get a yeast infection they may reoccur pretty regularly so just like⌠take care of yourself because the itchiness, flakiness, redness, and blisters really are not worth it.

Honestly I think often times in my life when people have said this to me itâs been from a place of ignorance, not in a hatred way but just genuinely uninformed to the topic. I think a lot of able bodied people genuinely think that no matter what disability you have or how high your support needs are if you just try hard enough you can do everything they can. Every single time I have been told this whether it came from a truly good place in that persons heart or not all it has only ever made me feel unheard. âI genuinely cannot go do what you want me to do Iâm disabledâ âoh but if you try hard enough you can do everything an abled person canâ youâre straight up just not listening to me and discounting everything I say because you feel like somehow though your magical abled abilities you know the extent of my disability better than I do. I understand sometimes people say this in a way to be supportive but it doesnât make me or any other disabled person I know feel supported it makes me feel patronized.
So this is where weâre at now.
Having a headcanon that a character is transmasc or a trans man is now Bad. Seeing yourself, your struggles, your perspectives and experiences, any of that, in a character is bad because you are a man or person whose gender is more masculine and you were AFAB.

this is coming from someone who did this for YEARS IN REAL LIFE. i did workshops on intersexism in my early adulthood. i got paid. it was my job. i was asked to come to queer events, schools, queer-run summer camps.
