And it almost seems like Ace thinks this isn't worth that much, Michinaga's grudge and Need to take down the Riders and Ace specifically cannot be that important to him, but it Is. It's his sole driving motivation at this point, so much so that he's too angry to fuckin die until he manages to finish it and he'll put his entire body through pain and hell with the Jamato buckle until he sees his goals reached. It's such an all consuming need to him, and honestly it mirrors Ace's need to keep competing in the DGP so he can find the answers he so desperately seeks about his mom. Both of them are fighting for something that feels so impossible at times but it's something they feel they have to do and can't stop until it's done, no matter the cost to themself, and it's so interesting that neither of them have realized how much their goals could align at this point, considering Ace seems to want to tear the DGP apart himself as well.
