This here is the official tumblr account for the UT AU fanfic I’m making on ao3 called A Ghost Story. This post is to serve as both the place to find the fic in question and to answer some general questions. This account might be used by me to serve as another way to showcase some BTS stuff I do such as little doodles I draw up, to be used as another way for you to be notified of the fic, and maybe to chat if you feel like it.

So you might have some questions. I’ll try to answer at least a view (I might update this later):
What even is this?
Like I said, it’s an AU. More specifically, as stated in the header, this is one that takes the concept of StoryShift and goes in a whole different direction with it, while trying its best to stay true to UT under a different format, plus a few twists and turns.
That’s cool and all, but what’s it about?
Basically, a dead Frisk gets a second chance at life when a shifty voice in their head offers his soul to them. In exchange, they have to figure out how they both ended up in this position. Shenanigans ensue.
So this is a StoryShift take?
No. Think of this in terms of ArtsyRean Doctor Megalo AU, where the base concept is the same but deviates in a completely different direction. I rather this stand on its own 2 feet separate from that AU.
Ghost Story? Like that one anime?
Funny coincidence. Different things…but not because you’re a rabbit-
What’s the age rating?
Mature. So you better be an adult if you’re reading this (if you’re not then I won’t stop you I ain’t your dad.)
I noticed the Deltarune tag. Is there Deltarune stuff in here?
I’m going to use a lot of stuff from DR (from concepts to characters) and will use them however I please and at my discretion. Make no mistake though; this is a UT AU first and foremost.
Ships?
Mainly Charisk. Any other ship I decide to add in will be secondary.
Are you finished?
Nope. It probably won’t for a while. But I’m willing to make the time for it.
Why make this?
A few reasons: I want to pratice writing, I like UT and DR, and I thought it’d be fun to wonder if UT was more like the Stanley parable/Slay the princess.
How many people are working on this?
Just me. I ain’t perfect and I’m probably gonna screw it up at some point so don’t be afraid to point things out to me.
What’s with the ut!ghost tag on this post?
That’s more so a just in case someone wants to make something related to this fic. If you do, use that tag (or just @ this account) so I can see it. Any post I make will use it.
