“Oh, don't worry, I’ve had much worse shifts.”

“As long as we don’t have to ‘suit up’, we’re fine.” She laughed it off, just gently. Exerting the energy to fly would make her fall out of the sky in 30 minutes max, outside of an emergency. 

“Don’t look at me. I didn’t eat the rest of that.”

[She just watched as the smoldering end of her cigarette, chopped off from a distance now, tried to burn itself out on the concrete. Really, that was was unnecessary.]
