S.O.S. // Nick & Dani
Nick traveled for months on his own, never seeing another living person. He was starting to think that he was the only one left. He didn’t know how to feel about that. Part of him was glad to be alone, because no one could hurt him, but the other half, the half that needed companionship, was feeling pretty lonely right then. Wh all hope seemed lost of ever seeing living people again, he met up with a small group of five people and they took him in. He didn’t trust them at first, but also didn’t want to be alone anymore. He had begun to think that he was the last survivor.
Over the next few weeks, he actually grew to trust this group and actually considered them family, but nothing good ever last for him, it seemed, because they got raided by another group, who shot and killed his entire group. He was shot as well, but didn’t die. He only pretended to be dead until the other group was gone. Then he slowly and carefully got up and gathered his things, it’s a good thing he didn’t trust people and hid his bow and his bag. That way, the raiders didn’t find it. While he did that his fallen group member began to rise up again, which confused Nick. They were dead, not bitten…How could they have turned? He had to kill his friends again, which only succeeded in making him close up even more.
So he left the bodies of his fallen friends and continued on. He was injured from being shot and bleeding pretty badly, but knew that if he stopped he was dead anyway. He bandage himself the best he could with what he had, which wasn’t much, and kept moving. After at few more miles, he knew he needed to stop or risk passing out. He had lost a lot of blood and needed to rest, but he needed to find somewhere safe, but where? He walked a few more miles, until his vision started to blur and he getting light headed. His bag was starting to feel heavy as he grew weaker. He skin was pale from the loss of blood and he knew he couldn't go any further. He fell against a tree and slid to the ground. He didn't stand a chance out here alone. He was either die from his injuries or become a snack to a passing walker.
