About me: I like animation(Studio Ghibli, Cartoon Saloon, Glitch etc) books and movies that have psychological messages.

Rules: No racism, bullying and politics.(If you do you will be blocked and reported). You can talk about religion with me in private as long it doesnt escalate into heated arguments of superiority or a circus talk no matter if you're religious or atheist.

My main work right now is "Bonded souls" which is a crossover between three different characters( Davy Jones from POTC, Shinobu Kocho from DEMON SLAYER and J from MURDER DRONES).

SHINOBU KOCHO: If not Muzan turned you into a demon then how did you became one?

DAVY JONES: (furrows his eyebrows) Have you not ever heard of the Flying Dutchman and it's captain damsel Kocho?

SHINOBU KOCHO: (closes her eyes while keeping her small smile) Never heard of it.~ But from how you proclaimed yourself as the devil of the sea I believe the beast that was lying in the middle of the sea back at your realm is. Am I wrong?

DAVY JONES: Not a beast. A spectral ship. One that has the strenght to rule all the seas under it's capatins command.

SHINOBU KOCHO: (has her mouth agape but the expression on her face remains calm) Oh? Really? Does it consume humans? Are you the only one on it? Does it have any other powers or abilities? (She gets closer to his his face as questions proceed further)

DAVY JONES: (twists his head over his left shoulder with a cold face) You do not need to know any of that!( a bit of sea water mixed with saliva jump out of his mouth)

(Shinobu's face turns into a frown slightly, she puts her hand on her chin in a contemplative way, she stares right at jones face, he doesn't look back at her)

SHINOBU KOCHO: Thats a shame, coming from you. I expected that you would be far more superior than the demons I know since I saw what powers you posses.~

(Davy jones puffs in annoyance at kochou's words and looks back at her)

SHINOBU KOCHO: ( smiles victoriously with her eyes closed again and eyebrows lifted upwards, she realeases a small chuckle as she covers her mouth)

SHINOBU KOCHO: If it's too hard for you to answer all my questions you can just answer the first one.~

DAVY JONES: (with a sarcastic face and tone) Which is?

SHINOBU KOCHO: How did you became a demon?

DAVY JONES: ...

SHINOBU KOCHO: (notices the change in his eyes but pushes further) What? Cat got your tongue?~

DAVY JONES: (shooks his head to snap out of it) It's personal. I won't tell ye either way.

(Both stay silent for a moment)

DAVY JONES: But ye? Why did you become a demon slayer in the first place?

(Shinobu's smile dissapear and looks at Davy Jones genuienly surprised, He looks a bit surprised too at the sight of her face expression)

I often think of J as a character that has a lot in common with other manmade beings from literature such as Frankestein by Mary Shelley , Pinnochio by Carlo Collodi or The Golem by Gustav Meyrink.

Why may you ask? Because even if J didn't had much screen time in the MD show, the fandom gave her a lot of character development.

One certain fanfic that shaped my vision of J was "REQUIEM" by pocketknife(A03), also known on Tumblr as Nuzipilled. The way J is presented shows she's always tied of the past, more specifically for the human girl Tessa which in a way shows she opposes her own nature of a simple machine. This fact also leads V and N to try helping her get over it somehow. Now I do believe that in the fic both of them help her out of kindness but I have a different perception on how this kindness worked in J's case. Tessa's death was a strike for all three of them and once Cyn was defeated N and V should have felt completeley free from the past yet in Requiem, once they got to relax, regrets and remorse start filling them for Tessa's. Why? Because that girl was the only person who truly saved them and loved them as a family yet they couldn't protect her from Cyn. V and N knew J loved her the most and would think about her for the rest of her life. This is in a way a bone in the throat for V and N because it reminds them of the past. Something they are not fond of (scared) to think about now that they're truly free.
