Six years ago, I set out to bring the luxury of a personal stylist online. Every day since then, I have lived and breathed this vision. Today, this journey ends for me as the CEO and co-founder of Keaton Row.
To the thousands of you who have joined me on this journey or rooted for Keaton Row on the sidelines, thank you. Though I feel sorrow, I feel so much more pride and gratitude.
Above all, I am proud of our commitment to deliver the most authentic personal styling experience. The relationship between a stylist and her client was at the center of everything we built, everything we did and everything we chose not to do. These relationships were unique, intimate and evolved with the lives of our clients. As a result, we had the privilege to style women for some of the most remarkable moments and seasons of their lives from engagement photos and pregnancy to welcoming a husband home from war.
As a business, I am proud of the results we achieved. Keaton Row's business model generated incredibly loyal customers making higher quality purchasing decisions. In an industry and retail environment that is fighting for every transaction, Keaton Row stood apart.
Keaton Row also allowed me the opportunity to meet with business and technology leaders at some of the companies I respect most in this industry. These meetings only validated that Keaton Row was doing something special by deepening the customer funnel and transforming her purchasing journey.
The plan for Keaton Row was to join one of these companies who would leverage our platform, team and service model in order to achieve a shared vision. Un-foreseen circumstances prevented us from realizing this partnership and ultimately, we were not in a position to continue this pursuit on our own.
While I am sorrowful (not sorry) for how this chapter ended, it does not change the incredible journey it has been. I am grateful for the encouragement I received to pursue this vision when it was just an idea. I am grateful to the people who helped me bring this vision to life and build it into a real business. I am grateful to live in a time where I have been embraced as a female leader and celebrated as a minority CEO. Last but not least, I am grateful to be surrounded by a community of people who view this journey, outcome included, as a badge of honor. Because of you, I will wear this badge proudly into my future wherever it may take me.

Who is your style icon?
âSienna Miller. Her style is always evolving, interesting and chic.â
What inspires you when you are creating lookbooks for clients?
âNew York! Living in one of the best cities in the world, you are constantly exposed to different cultures, unique art and amazing street style. I use the diversity of the city as inspiration to help me create personalized and special lookbooks for each client I have.â
Whatâs your favorite Keaton Row brand?
âEquipment. You can never have too many silk button downs! They are super versatile and last forever.â
Keaton Row is all about buying less and investing in worthwhile pieces. What has been your best clothing investment to date and why?
âMy âsecond layerâ pieces: a leather jacket and black blazer. You can throw them on over anything and it instantly takes your look to the next level. Fit is important here though, make sure you shop around until you find the one you are most comfortable in!â
Item youâd love to splurge on this season:
âKenzo black heeled leather booties. I love the silver metal detail on the heel!â

Describe your style in three words:
âEffortless. Edgy. Evolving.â
What's your style motto?
âConfidence, comfort and an understanding of what looks good on you are the ultimate keys to style.â
What attracted you to Keaton Row?
âI love the idea of making styling accessible to women everywhere. If you donât know which pieces will flatter your figure or which to invest in, thatâs where I come in. With Keaton Row Iâm able to share my knowledge so my clients can make thoughtful purchases and feel confident in what theyâre wearing.â
Whatâs your favorite part about being a personal stylist?
âHelping clients with confidence is definitely the most rewarding part of styling. I love when I hear from a client that they felt amazing in their look or received compliments. I also love that the industry is constantly changing and no two days are the same. I never get bored on the job!â
Who is your style icon?
âLauren Hutton. She defines effortlessness. Sheâs perfected the art of looking polished and preppy but still relaxed. Additionally, I appreciate how she has always been an advocate for embracing your perceived flaws, like her signature gapped tooth smile, and that these 'flaws' can be beautiful.â
What inspires you when you are creating lookbooks for clients?
âNew Orleans - the art, style, architecture, color and music. It is a sensory overload every time I walk out of my front door. Whether it is the brightly colored houses that line my street, the hundred-year-old oak trees in the park, or the painters that line Jackson Square, there is inspiration in all of it.â
Whatâs your favorite Keaton Row brand?
âLNA. There is nothing that makes me happier than putting on a super soft, great fitting tee. LNA pays attention to detail and makes their tees unique by adding cool cut outs or light distressing. Plus, they use super luxe fabrics that only get better with time. My LNA tees are the most versatile item in my closet for sure!â
Keaton Row is all about buying less, but better and investing in worthwhile pieces. What has been your best clothing investment to date and why?
âMy Smythe blazer. Every woman needs a blazer that fits her properly. The cool hardware and unique cuts on Smythe blazers give them a Balmain feel but at a fraction of the price! I wear mine year-round, night or day, dressed up or down - best investment yet!â
Item youâd love to splurge on this season:
âCeline studded ankle boots. Must have.â
Fashion show youâd love to sit front row at:
âChloe.â
If you weren't a stylist, what would you be doing?
âI would own a vintage boutique for clothes and furniture. I spend most of my weekends going to thrift stores and scouring flea markets for hidden gems and antiques. I am constantly refurbishing, painting, and reupholstering pieces that I find. I love working with fabrics, texture and design!â

Describe your style in three words:
âUnderstated, edgy, and casualâ
What attracted you to Keaton Row?
âI really connected with Keaton Row's buy less, buy better philosophy. Iâd recently started investing in better quality pieces myself and was loving the effect it had on my closet and confidence. I wanted to share that with as many people as possible, and Keaton Row's online platform provided a unique vehicle for that.â
Whatâs your favorite part about being a personal stylist?
âBeing able to use my love for fashion to help women feel great on a daily basis. I love making my clients feel confident and excited about their clothes. It's both rewarding and fun! Plus, it inspires me to keep evolving my own style.â
Who is your style icon?
âAudrey Hepburn and Emmanuelle Alt for tailored, boyish style that still feels feminine. Â They're both so true to themselves, mastering the "uniform" concept - Audrey with a refined charm and Emmanuelle with the ultimate effortlessly cool vibe.â
What inspires you when you are creating lookbooks for clients?
âNew York street style! My subway commute and walks through downtown neighborhoods always provide me with practical, fresh ideas that I can bring to my clients.â
Whatâs your favorite Keaton Row brand?
âI'm obsessed with everything by Loeffler Randall. I love their modern approach to everyday basics with edgy details, not to mention the impeccable quality.â
Finish this sentence âIâm always looking for the perfectâŚ.â
âJeans. They're an everyday staple for me and I wear my favorites to death, so I'm always looking to build out a more well-rounded collection. It can be a challenge to nail the perfect rise, length, weight, and wash.â
Keaton Row is all about buying less, but better and investing in worthwhile pieces. What has been your best clothing investment to date and why?
âI finally purchased a quality leather jacket last fall and it was worth every penny. I've been wearing it daily for months. It's one of those perfect "when in doubt" pieces that always makes me feel great with even the most basic outfit.â
Item youâd love to splurge on this season:
âWithout the need for jackets and boots, bags become my favorite spring/summer investment item. I'm currently coveting our white color-blocked Alice D tote. It's the perfect size for everyday use and the soft neutral colors are a refreshing departure from my usual black accessories.â
Fashion show youâd love to sit front row at:
âMy dream would be to attend an iconic show like Prada in Milan, one of my favorite cities since spending a semester in college there. I'd love to see the daring, over-the-top luxury that Italian fashion is known for in all it's dramatic glory. It's so different from my subdued personal style, but that's what a fashion show is for - the drama!â
