Was going to make a joke about how cringe this is but then I remembered my tweet from 10 years ago when I was at a kpop party, with the same sentiment (I am better than everyone here and everyone but me is cringe,) and I realized what I already knew but is nice to be reminded of: I transform my insecurities (about being a lonely fat loser) into hatered. I am deeply jealous of people who have friends. That share their interests. But even just friends would be awesome.

got7 have like six twilight zones in a row. I'll explain the post. since beginning my music journal journey, twilight zone by ha sungwoon has been my benchmark for a solid album. no skips, consistent quality, but no jaw dropping standouts either. just a good album that grows on you. it stood out in his discography because the rest of it is kind of middling. but I've rarely found a similar example with other artists. and got7 has like six in a row so far.

trying to watch a got7 concert and they are actually SO unserious. how are you opening your very first official concert setlist with SON DEURO DEURO like its a freaking free for all fanmeeting outside the music bank offices. just no decorum. no sense of shame.

okay not them performing the song fly during the setlist of the tour called fly and then also performing it again during the encore.... OH GOD7 like whats the deal with artists performing their MAIN song during the ENCORE like who are we kidding here. truly nobody has ever done it like them. i take back everything i was going to post about them being less synchronized than bigbang.

Has a (non native) kpop idol ever spoken english without immediately resorting to microaggressions? Because like in what world is your immediate association to "english" = "skrrt swag yo wazzup" and throwing up gang signs.

Ohhhhhh I get it now. I was always like why are koreaboos these days not learning korean from korean songs like I did in my day. It's because the songs are literally fully in english 💀💀💀💀💀💀 nahhh I was aware of both of these phenomena but I only just connected them.

ok wait so the "team" that bangchan "chose" was literally just for the jyp inter company showcase and it's not like he did it with being a permanent group in mind. why do i feel like many of their fans do not know this.
