Shawn comes from an extensive, and years in the making marvel fan-verse that im always working on. It's extensive and insane.

Mathew is more complex story OC wise because though my fanverse au "starts" in the MCU, I gutted information from the MCU and changed a lot of it to fit the comics instead. The MCU part only really goes up to Age of Ultron then detours back into the Hawkeye comic book accuracy with a few MCU details carried over.

In short though Matt is the eldest son of Clint and Barbra (much before the MCU kids) and when Clint retires after Age of Ultron Mathew takes up his hero name. Against Clint's wishes.
