Soooo, my REP TOUR show is next month on AUGUST 25th here in NASHVILLE. This is my hometown show. Previously, during every other Swift tour, I have attended at least two shows. Due to some personal challenges the past two years, it made the most sense to only attend my hometown show this tour. I am okay with this. I consider myself fortunate and blessed to see the show once, considering there are many big fans unable to attend a tour show at all.
Many of you asked me to make a post about my show. This is it. :)) Thank you to each and every one of you for your beautiful support in my quest to meet Taylor. I may not find time to answer every single one but please know I see them all and take nothing for granted. Thanks for every reblog, like, comment, post, tag, message, tweet, retweet, text, and the like. Thank you in advance should you choose to reblog this post. I am extremely thankful for every one of you.
My husband will be with me at the NASHVILLE show, as he has been to at least one show every tour. He’s also a big Swift fan but does not do social media. We actually met through our mutual shared music interests. That has gone a long ways in being married 22 years and counting. Many of you may remember seeing the old photo I posted here of the hubs with Taylor in 2007. He met her at a Walmart appearance here in the city. I was working that day and thus began my 12 year journey to meet Taylor. There have been way too many near misses along the way, actually too many to count. Honestly, I’m not sure I would have believed the stories if I had not lived them. I look forward some day to sharing them with Taylor if I’m ever lucky enough to meet her.

I often post photos and stories here of the beautiful boy of my heart, Nick, who has autism. I am his nanny. We consider ourselves family and his parents have always referred to me as the “third parent”. We share love, care, and decision-making for this little love who is a rather large light in my life. ☀️☀️ Having no children of our own, Nick and his older brother could not be more like my own children. I would walk out in front of a car for them. I have been with Nick since he was born and he is now 17 years old. I still call him “the little” though he isn’t so little anymore at 6’3”. :)) I say all of this background to state this conclusion: Nick’s sensory issues will not allow him to attend a show of his “TAYLA”. It’s okay, though, because he and I have dance parties and Swift sing alongs daily. We both get so much joy from these shared experiences. I introduced him to Taylor years ago and it is incredibly fun to share this very special bond with him. No bigger Taylor fan exists than Nick, and, his loyalty and dedication are fierce. To this day, he will only allow Swift music to be played in the car. 😘😘
Thanks again for the friendship, love, kindness, and support from this community. I love you guys and I believe we have an amazing group of fans here, many truly good human beings who try hard to help and support each other and pay forward the love of Taylor.
