For the past week, I found myself almost too ashamed to tell anybody, fearing they would look down on me or pity me or just not understand me when I say that although I am terrified of not having that sense of order that has always been present in my life (in the form of classes, practices, meetings, internships, or jobs), sometimes, you have to let yourself go. To fall. And to not get back up immediately just to prove that you are strong, but to lie there for as long as you need to collect yourself and to reflect on what could make you stronger, wiser, and happier. To my peers, please believe with me: It's okay to be switching majors. It's okay to be undeclared. It's okay to have just graduated and not find a job in the field to which you committed four or five or six years. Or to find a job in that perfect field and find that it was nothing like you imagined. It's okay to not know what your passion is yet. It's okay to not have a significant other to share sadness or happiness with you. It's okay to wander. or even be lost.

You deserve all the best. From almost being hit by a car 20 feet away to "there's no driver...waaait..." to "I'm the only one who works," I enjoyed celebrating your birthday so much! You are one of the most caring and beautiful people in my life. Happy birthday again, you working girl :) PS. I ♡ our trio.

Easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to. He made me cry tears of joy for being able to witness such passion for storytelling and for bettering the world. Most beautiful wedding I've ever attended - not just due to aesthetics, but without even knowing them, I could really feel the love and genuine excitement that both families had for the bride and groom. It feels like most Asian weddings are only for show. We get so caught up in upholding certain traditions (which I actually have come to enjoy, respect, and even yearn for my own wedding) to such perfection that we forget its essence. I always thought that American weddings seemed so casual compared to the ones I was used to. But it's not that. It's that they aren't worried about appearing to have an extravagant wedding to impress family members. They don't stress about judgment from elders or distant cousins. They get married for themselves. And it's beautiful that way. I'm so thankful I got to attend and cover it. Spenser and Prosper, you guys rock!
