chapter 25- someone's at the door!
Daniela wasn't expecting anyone, especially at 10 am and when she literally just got home from the airport. Maybe it was on eid the girls, so she didn't really have the mind to fix up her appearance especially when she basically just woke up. She didn't even look at the peephole, she just casually unlocked the door.
"manon you already-" she paused and immediately closed the door. She heard y/n's laugh from the other side. "no text?!"
"it's not my fault you don't check my location daily!" he laughed out "you gonna open or what?"
"i can't i look like a mess." she complained
"a mess my ass daniela, this is important."
Daniela sighed and opened the door, seeing him hold a basket and flowers. "what is this?" He held it out for her to take. "late birthday gift, and read the note too dummy" She looked down and read the paper. "something... something.. will you be my gir- is this because i told you to ask me before you put a ring?" She raised a brow and obviously not taking it seriously.
"no?? okay well that's for the future, but i just want to be with you and not mess it up this time."
"okay.."
"so?"
"hmmmm... yeah. Yes" she smiled like a stupid idiot as she reached over and kissed him. "oh my gosh you got chocolate and gummies too!" She said taking the basket, bringing it inside and leaving him.
