“How did you find this place.” a flat, wisp of a voice uttered from above. It wasn’t phrased like a question, simply a statement. In fact, Gerald coud barely detect the location of its owner amongst all the raccous clatter of the wind  battling sea.

“WHAY-ww-what!?” Gerald bellowed, then promptly lowered his voice in panic stricken terror. He didn’t know why the small, strange wastrel of a woman, hovering several meters above him at the top the steps to a grimy looking building inspired so much fear in him, but she did. She didn’t even look mad, really - she was simply standing there, arms crossed lightly against her chest, shivering slightly. Her floor-length nightie bore signs of mildew, and swamped her tiny body, ruffled heaps of white and mold-green rosette embridery detail pooling at her feet, a bedraggled mockery of a siren. Her expression, like her tone, was completely absent of any sort of emotion at all, in fact, it seemed like her face had given up on any sort of emotion years ago. Everything was bones and crevices, lines and hollows, and big eyes which should have looked kind where watery and ghostlike. “How did you find this place.” The strange women repeated. Gerald started to feel the beads of sweat forming alonside his goosebumps. “I - ah, well, aye, funneh, story mind - “
