When my sister was little, she had an imaginary friend called Jackie. One Sunday, my great aunt was over and my sister came in, announced to the room that Jackie fell down the stair and died, and left. My great auntie calmly looked up and said “how did she know about that?” Apparently, my great auntie had a little brother called Jack (her mother, who died a little before my sister was born, called him Jackie) and when he was 7, he fell down the stairs, banged his head and died.

Me, my aunt and Grandma went shopping a while back in a village we live by with my then three year old cousin, she turned and looked at the local school and said “I used to go there, but girlies went in one door and boys went in the other and one time a girl died”. My Grandma was very shocked, as she went to that school back when girls and boys were segregated in lessons. So later my Grandma pushed her about said girl and my little cousins told her all about her, vivid imagination everyone laughed out, until my Grandma told us her description was bang on…
