on an awfully cold day enid finds a notebook agnes left on her bed and, to be quite honest, she would've just given it back if she was a better person. as it stands, she's nosy. so when she opens a random page to see a list titled 'Times Wednesday Pretended to Be Nonchalant' she can't hold herself to restraint.
the list is very to the point.
07/14 - enid left for a club, wednesday didn't say goodbye but she spent the afternoon reading on the chair closest to the door. when she heard enid's footsteps she went to the bed and rolled her eyes as the door opened.
08/02 - pugsley left a rock on her pocket by accident. she told him she threw it away and to stop stuffing her useful pockets with useless things. that's a lie, she labeled the rock and placed it in her trunk
09/20 - enid has a new black hoodie. wednesday wears it when she's not in the room and throws it on the bed the second she thinks enid will be back
10/11 - morticia and gomez sent a letter. wednesday re-reads it when she misses home, she told her mother she would burn it.
11/21 - bianca gave her a stuffed raven as a proof of victory on the winter fair. wednesday grumbled about it being nothing more than an empty consolation prize. she put it inside her bag to take home for the holidays (she pretends she's not counting down the days to go home)
12/02 - enid have wednesday a goodbye kiss on the cheek. wednesday gagged but when enid left she kept pacing and touching the very same spot.
01/15 - she keeps gomez's handmade dagger underneath her pillow and morticia's handknitted quilt on her bed at all times.
02/01 - wednesday has been very grumpy about valentine's day. she wants enid to ask because she refuses the embarrassemnet of being rejected. enid will not do it (she's a coward) so I'll keep watching to see how disappointed she will be.
enid squeals throughout the whole thing. until the very end where she blushes and fists her hands in annoyance. coward??? oh agnes will learn what's good for her, enid will make the best valentine's proposition ever.
she leaves the notebook where she found it and goes to the crystal ball to ensure she'll make a perfect addams request. wednesday will surely swoon.
what she doesn't see, is the notebook floating as agnes leaves the room silently. now her torment will surely stop. and pugsley will owe her fifteen dollars, he was so sure his sister would be the one to break the tension.
