I can’t stop myself from loving you, no matter how hard I try. I keep trying and struggling to move on, but I can’t get you out of my head or out of my heart.

One day I want to be able to look at you without feeling sick. I want to be able to look at you and not feel so hurt by you. I want to be able to talk to you again without wanting to ask “Why? Why did you give up one me? Why did you leave?” I want to be able to see pictures of you and not start crying. I want to be able to be friends with you without feeling heartbroken everytime I look at you. One day, I want to be able to stand infront of you, look into your green eyes, and say: “You were everything I wanted. But you are not what I need anymore. And I honestly do hope that you’re happy.”

“I don’t hate you,” she promised. “I swear I don’t. “It just hurts too much to be around you right now.”

Numbing the pain for a while will make it worse when you finally feel it.

How can emptiness be so heavy?

They told me to pour my heart into everything I do. So that’s what I did, I poured and poured and poured. Now they ask me why I’m so empty.
