They just—took away an entire population’s valid IDs. With a stroke of a pen. No grace period. No chance for anyone to get their IDs “fixed” in time, not that they should have had to in the first place. They even made it illegal for people to drive themselves to the DMV to get a new ID. That’s insane y’all. That is dystopian level madness. It is petty and cruel and literally dehumanizing.

They have also invalidated their birth certificates, thus jeopardizing their ability to prove citizenship and vote. It’s voter suppression on top of everything else.

They wanted to make an entire population into criminals with a stroke of a pen and that’s what they did.

And the rest of the country just… hasn’t noticed. No one cares. There’s no headlines. Nothing on the news. Because it’s Kansas. Because it’s trans people.

They only care about their shareholders, and the shareholds care not for the end user's experience.

Allowing companies to become "to big to fail" was a major failure in the US. No business should be anywhere near as large as they have gotten. They continue to consolodate, and the consolation NEVER leads to be a better experience for us.

Literally fast food restaurants make seats the right amount of uncomfortable to ensure you don't stay very long.

We live in a society where there aren't comfortable public spaces which keeps us in our homes and as isolated as possible. Because if we are isolated, we can't organize, and if we don't organize, we can't affect change.

Large Language Models sure seem like AI, until you realize that it's only spitting out what it's algorithm says is the most likely thing you want to hear.

It doesn't think, it doesn't comprehend, it doesn't calculate.
