When her eyes first opened, she was horrified. Everything seemed to scare her. Noises were too loud, lights were too bright, touch was too rough. Luckily, it seems her nervous system has calmed a little.

In my experience, 1 in 6 cats are born highly sensetive like this. Like kitty autism, they need lots of quiet space and soft pets.

I really, really enjoy animating. I could just publish this series as a webcomic and save myself alot of grief, but I think animation adds an extra layer of charm and humor that does not always translate to print form.

I've been watching a lot of ghost hunting shows (really just "Expedition X") and while I really WANT ghosts to be real, I can't say I'm a true believer. Not until I've had my own supernatural encounter, but until that night, I still enjoy the spooky atmosphere and history mini-dives of ghost hunts.

And it's kicked off a new series! Inspired by the little annoying things ghost hunters tend to do: scare themselves, over analyze a random sound, misinterpret an answer. It must be frustrating for a ghost trying to cross over.
