i watched you king growing wings on the silver screen i paid the price of admission and took my seat in the center of a dark room i let the dream surround me let it swallow me whole it never needed to invite my submission i offered it up readily that is but a sliver of a slice of the price of admission and i watched you king 30 feet tall a panther interrogating my ancestors looking for answers from another realm what a sight to envision an ability to hear the afterlife if we listen what is the price of admission i would gladly pay it twice in addition to the taxes and the parking fees because my heart believes the validation is vividly tenfold for whatever ive been sold i get more than i can hold always that is cinema you king are cinema your very essence the way your legacy upholds the legacies of our legends always and in all their stories their falls their glories i watched you exceptionally exhibit black excellence with the grace of greatness proven time and time again do not tell me the price of admission i dont need to know i got a wallet full of cash and i came for the show i came for the sunshine i came for the rain i came for the lessons the laughter the pain the pain the pain it  lingers long after the last cut it lingers through the scrolling credits it lingers long after the lights go up in that room where i sit alone the 30 foot king has been replaced by a ghost it seems the legends always leave when we need them the most maybe thats the price of admission
