Back in about 2010 I was approached by Marvel TV, and they screened the (VFX still unfinished) Thor film for me and asked me to write and create the format for a Young Thor animated series that would come out after the first Thor movie. I suggested a series with a Thor who's already a nascent hero but with a young Loki who is trying to be good and idolises his big brother Thor and slowly Goes To The Bad over a couple of seasons, so we got to give him the character arc, and the reply I got was that all the characters had to be exactly the same as they were in the movie, just younger, and I told them I wasn't interested if I couldn't have people change, and that was the end of it.
