Realists... It's funny to me how some people take pride in labeling themselves realists. As if that title placed them in a higher intellectual realm. In my opinion that couldn't be further from the truth. If I was a realist I would still weigh 330 pounds. I would still be plagued by heart disease, diabetes and a long list of other ailments. I would have never run marathons distances. I would have never reached mountain peaks. Without the courage to dream, and the commitment to materialized those dreams, we would have never venture into outer space, and we would have never split up the atom. So thanks, but no thanks. I'm not a realist.
