karamel appreciation week ♡ day 7: free choice → imagined Holiday “Mon-El got in the Easter spirit and hid Easter eggs around the apartment for a surprise easter egg hunt (no x-ray vision allowed). The real surprise was the unboiled eggs.”
I think Mon-El would fully embrace Easter by dressing up in bunny ears, getting Kara a plate full of Peeps, painting elaborate Easter eggs, and hiding them in her apartment for Kara to find, but miss the crucial step where he was supposed to boil the eggs first. In turn, Kara would scrapbook the occasion to remember it always because she seems like a scrapbooker to me.

I know there are SO many more amazing Karamel fics out there and I’ve only just cracked the surface, but I wanted to at least put some of my favorites up. I absolutely loved all their work and I want to send endless kudos and thanks and hugs to the authors (and any Karamel author out there) for all your work and dedication and for giving the rest of us these wonderful stories. You are all amazing people.
And as the Appreciation Week is drawing to a close, I want to add that this message goes for everyone that made outstanding gifs, created flawless photo edits, put out awesome videos, and even just made text posts to express your love and appreciation for Karamel. I know I certainly appreciated all of you and just fell in love with all your posts and contributions to the Appreciation Week. I feel like I reblogged SO much Karamel goodness that my page has just become such a happy place for me to go now and I feel very connected to all of you to know we all love and cherish Karamel together. It was my first time participating in any sort of Appreciation Week and I really feel like I’m part of something now and that we have all just become one big extended Karamel Family that will just keep growing and helping each other out and staying strong in our love for Kara and Mon-El. I can’t believe that it’s ending already! I chose to write about the two Karamel things™:
•Eyes-Lips Thing™, most people noticed it first in the Comets scene, or in the “Maybe I can have it all” scene, but let me tell you, it was there waaaaaay before, to be exact, in 2x03 when they were arguing in the DEO cell, maybe it was one of the little things that made me ship them, unconsciously? Also I love when they kept doing it in the 2x14 scene when Mon-El talks to Kara in private; it’s something so sweet yet sexy and I love it!
•Smiley-Kiss Thing™, my personal fave, which I already mentioned in the physical contact day. It happened only three times, (2x14, 2x16, 2x17) but it makes me so happy whenever they do it, because it means that they’re really happy, so happy they can’t even contain their smiles and giggles while kissing, it’s adorable and it makes my heart burst. ❤ (not my gifs)
