The final novel had Kanoās final moments. He talked to Azami, admit that he liked Kido a lot after she asked him if he got a long with Kido [more info by wonderful zushilove here].

Kano: When Azami heard that, she leaked her voice moaning āughā. She was the kind of person to empathize with my previous confession. She should be able to assume why Iām being hesitant to answer Kisaragi-chan.
And finally! The biggest cherry on top from Fuyu here!
Kano used his ability to change into Mary/Azami and distract Kuroha for others to escape.
He was ruthlessly killed.
He got a little lonely when his power was gone.
He couldnāt say he wasnāt happy to be able to fight alongside with Kidoās āConcealingā at his final moment.
He didnāt want to see āClearingā use his friendās face to make such an expression.
He felt the vibration from the phone and remembered Ene: āSuch a thoughtful person, really.ā
At the end, for just a single moment, he felt like he could hear the voice of the girl he liked. Her tone gave off a seemingly angry feeling. He unconciously turned around.
There was no one there. That seems like her more than anything else.
He heard the voice of the girl he likes!
And the voice sounds angry!
Kido = Concealing Eyes = not there
Kido = angry tone = Upset over Kano (being killed)
And he said said that is from the girl he likes
Therefore, and in conclusion:
Kano likes Kido that way
