So I found a couple of Kerouac's manifesto's in free e-book form. And with each page devour, I grow more envious. One can surmise that their attempts at writing are boring, lacking originality, authenticity, depth, emotion and often dwells in desolation without discernable prose. All of which Kerouac's work is the direct antithesis of. Hemingway embodied it. Thoreau, Sylvia Plath, Shakespeare, Poe, Hunter S. Thompson... They all possessed it in spades. Pen's bleed ink.
