Holkar Stadium – It was earlier famous as Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground, but in 2010, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association renewed & renamed it after the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas that ruled Indore. It has the capacity of 30,000 spectators.
Construction of Flyovers – With the development, population has increased in Indore and traffic in Indore was really difficult to manage and maintain. So the construction of Flyovers started one after other. Now Indore can boost of 5+ flyovers to divert & manage the traffic on road.
Indore City Bus – Indore City Bus transport system covers 277 kilometers of road network in the Indore city and surrounding areas. It has revolutionized the complete concept of city transport. This system not only helped in managing the traffic but also aided passengers using public transport on regular basis. This is the most successful project so far under the PPP model.
Establishment of IIT – With the title of ‘Education Hub of Central India,' Indore successfully became the very first city to host the two most prestigious institutions of India i.e. IIM & IIT. With the growing successful results in IIT exam, Indore got the IIT campus in this last decade which is really a big achievement.
