History and Architecture of Rajwada Palace
Commissioned in 1747 AD by Malhar Rao Holkar, the founder of the Holkar dynasty, Rajwada Palace served as the royal residence and witnessed many historic events, including grand ceremonies and cultural gatherings. The seven-storeyed structure reflects the opulence of its era, featuring ornate balconies, intricate carvings, elegant arches, and beautifully designed pillars.
