I wouldn’t say Azzi’s situation is nearly as bad as Lauren’s. After Olivia Azzi has the next best situation. There’s just a large gap in between Livs situation and everyone else. And yeah Cheryl is great but she also does a lot that I disagree with. I know people want Paige to go to Minny to be coached by her but I would prefer someone like Becky.

Yeah that’s was bullshit. This isn’t some isolated incident. At this point she’s getting into it with someone new every single game. So she can literally go somewhere else with the lie. And Melissa was right. That’s literally becoming her reputation in the league and is overshadowing what she’s doing on the court.

I would hope he’s not dumb enough to risk us loosing just to play some damn psychological games with Arike… And what is there to prove. She’s shown the player she is time and time again. It’s not even about her being selfish because I genuinely think she’s gotten better with that. The issue is that we’re paying someone a million dollars who’s gonna give you 2-3 good games a month and then be damn near unplayable for the remainder. Then you have your only two consistent offensive options having to bust their ass on defense for 40 minutes to make up for it. That’s not sustainable at all. You can’t be streaky on offense and then also be the worst defender on the court. Especially considering defense is mostly effort.

💯 She desperately needs to be humbled. Literally walked in and was handed everything on a silver platter while the other rookies are dumpster diving. I genuinely wish she had to experience a true rebuild like everyone else.

Yeah the Lynx have a reputation of being cocky anyway. Not surprising. Also Cheryl does the absolute most as well. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree at all. They do this every season and like clockwork choke in the playoffs.

Idk if them not doing that was intentional or not tho. Olivia was tying her shoes and there was no way Paige was gonna stand there and wait for her to finish. I think Paige just has a lot of respect for the game so to see someone come in and act the way Olivia does the minute they get a little bit of media attention probably rubs her the wrong way. I mean Paige could’ve had a big head last season with the media attention she received but she remained humble. I mean Paige has been getting media attention since high school and has always remained humble.

She’s overhyped. Great facilitator and can get to the rim really well but the media has picked her as their new project when she really ain’t all that. She’s cocky af and has let the media attention blow her head all the way up. Half of her points come from the free throw line because she has a ridiculous whistle. She talks too damn much and up until today people have just been letting her do it. And idc that she’s mixed. I am too and I would never throw around the n word the way she does. Using it with an aggressive tone as in insult is weird behavior. Reality of the situation is she she went to a team that was at the top of the standings last season with a winning coach while every other rookie went to a team that was in the lottery for a reason. So yeah her transition has been a little smoother. I would hope so when you’re being coached by the winningest coach in the W. Her situation isn’t comparable at all to Azzi either. Cheryl gave Liv the keys meanwhile Paige doesn’t even have the damn keys. She has veterans who know their roles and Azzi has veterans who expect her and Paige to do everything while simultaneously looking them off when they call for the ball. Liv gets the easiest defensive assignment night in and night out while Azzi is literally having to do everything by herself if she’s out there with anyone other than Paige. And even when Paige is out there the two of them still have to make up for Arike’s nonexistent defense and shit effort. Y’all know I don’t fuck with CC but when I see people try to compare what Liv is doing to her and Paige it pisses me off because the situation they were in was nowhere near the same as Liv. Going in as a rookie on a shit team with a new coach is so different than going to an established team with an experienced coach. Liv is passing to Natasha Howard, Courtney and Kmac meanwhile Paige was passing to MHA and hardship players. It’s not the same.
