It was never about Paige. I think Unrivaled would’ve been good for Azzi’s development since she would be able to do more one on one and have room to move and not worry about being doubled all the time. I don’t know why people act like Unrivaled doesn’t help with development. It’s done wonders for a lot of players. Regardless I think project b will definitely help with her confidence and getting more 5x5 reps will be great.

why can’t the other players defend marina? literally just a bunch of cones

Marina is tough to defend when she’s pulling up the minute she crosses the line. And Arike who is our worst guard defender was on her. I don’t know why Iose made that decision. Maybe he was trying not to tire Azzi out defensively.

I’m so glad you said this cause I feel the same way. Azzi is a hell out a player but she’s not consistent enough on offense as she is on defense. I will never understand why a player like her passes so much and don’t believe in her shot!! This is something azzi has struggled with for years. Maybe it has something to do with her ACL tears and other injuries. it’s probably still in the back of her mind, she has to let that go or it’s gonna continue to hold her back.

We all know Jose and his rotation sucks but blaming him for azzi not shooting isn’t on him. That’s on Azzi. She HAS to want it, she has to create her own shot. Sooner or later she’ll realize that. She’s way too unselfish and it’s infuriating to see.

It’s definitely a mindset thing. I just hope it’s figure out sooner rather than later. She’s still been extraordinary this season but she’s not even remotely close to reaching her potential.
