Come to the dark side: we have snakes

Hello my lovely snakes~

I hope you all understand but I will be closing the ask box at 14 instead of 15 asks. Unfortunately it may be closed for a long time. I also apologize for not posting this past Sunday...

I would like to say that I am going on a semi-hiatus, but “hiatus” normally means a vacation or break of sorts and that I’ll be coming back soon. Truth is I am not leaving, however I will be very, very inactive. A new stage of my life is about to start now that I will be graduating college in less than a month, and I am already feeling the pressure. I have been very busy with life to the point that it is difficult to answer asks even just once a week. I hope you all understand: you’re such a lovely bunch of precious snakes and I’m so glad to have met and talked to some of you here :’)

I feel bad for becoming so inactive, since this seems to happen to all scenario blogs eventually, and also normally due to life as well, but I hope all your lives are going well and that you will not miss the weekly posts here too much.

That being said the ask box will be open for conversations. Also, you can always instant message me here on Tumblr too. I will still be around every once and a while, I just won’t have much chance to write.

I would also like to mention that there is another Kagerou Project scenario blog called @kagerouscenarios run by the lovely Mod Z who writes wonderful scenarios! I believe they are looking for Mods right now, so go ahead and apply if you want :3

In case I don’t get much of a chance later on, I want to wish you all the best of luck! Regardless the weather or how your day is going, life is such a wonderful thing and don’t forget that...You are all very amazing and unique people, and I know you will do well if you put your mind to something!

That is so adorable…here, let me write a quick scenario for it ;)

Kuroha loves manipulating others, twisting their emotions to the extreme, causing great pain to others. He is gleeful when he sees others suffer.

But in this moment, Kuroha had none of that on his mind. His eyes held no maliciousness – they didn’t appear to be planning anything.

Yet he was concentrating just as hard as he did when planning an evil scheme.

He wasn’t fixated on the humans he so much loved to mess with, but instead a head of hair. A head of really long hair. White hair belonging to a young girl.

However, if one were to tell the snake that he was indeed attempting to braid a (mostly) human’s head of hair he would sit confused for a moment until he realizes that yes, this hair is indeed attached to a part-human. That is how hard he was concentrating.

Marry shifted patiently, enjoying a moment where the snake was no threat. Perhaps this would make a good distraction in the future. She wasn’t sitting doing nothing anyway: she was carefully making some of her homemade flowers. She started humming a soft tune, but Kuroha didn’t hear.

The quiet snake realized pretty quickly how difficult it was to braid so much long, thick hair. He first tried separating the hair into chunks to braid at a time, but then there was way too many sections. He then tried three large chunks, but it looked funny. Between a lot of separating, combing, and separating again he finally found a good balance.

But by now he was tangled in the young girl’s hair.

He thought placing some sections over his shoulder would help get it out of the way and make it easier, but instead it now appeared that he was part of Marry’s hair: like a really mossy tree.

Marry heard a deep sigh coming from behind her. She giggled quietly to herself and picked up another flower to make.

An hour later, from outside Marry’s bedroom, Kido heard Marry yell, “Wowwww!”

“It turned out terrible.” The defeated snake huffed.

“I love it!”

“Ooof, h-hey, why are you hugging me?” Kuroha sounded shocked.

Kido wandered closer to the door and heard Marry murmur, “Thank you.”

Kido would sit next to them, offering a quiet presence and a shoulder they could cry on. Depending on the situation she may hesitantly reach out and rub small circles on their back. She wouldn’t be the best at thinking of the right words, but she is a very good listener and would try and offer advice. Afterwords she may cook them a meal to help them relax.

Kano wouldn’t know what to do at first. He’d stand there for a second to process what was happening, then he’d awkwardly approach them and pat their back. Like Kido, he would remain quiet until they decided to talk, allowing them to let out all the negative emotions that they had stored up to that point. After he would try and make them laugh or at least smile, giving them as much encouragement as he can.

The moment they start to break down Seto would be at their side. Depending on the situation he’d either pull them into a hug and rub their back, or wrap a comforting arm around their shoulders. He’d murmur soothing words to them and once they let out their pent up emotions he would sit them down and ask if they want to talk about it. Looking into his kind eyes really helped them calm down and open up.

Box: Double wait. That cat doesn’t even have blood. Let me think about this scenario bout’ a week later when Shiro and Homura attempts to disintegrate that lil shiet lol ( You DID say that the other one raised from the former’s corpse, right ? ;3 )

Haha, I guess that’s what happens since I haven’t seen Madoka yet XD I was going to read Kyubey’s Wikia page, but it would be riddled with spoilers so I just guessed XD Also since you mentioned Kyubey eats it’s corpse, I’m slightly confused ^^; But would Kyubey purposely make the illusion that it has organs and blood just to scare Shiro and Kido? I don’t really know its abilities that well.

Hmmm now I’m not sure if I should just delete that gory response cause it’s completely wrong now…

Haha ahhh so mean! Just kidding, I’d be curious too…let’s see what happens…

An alternate ending of this scenario.WARNING: Depictions of gore (cannibalism, blood, and body insides).

Shiro lunged at the cat, and as their hands passed through the creature, it tore open its flesh, creating a large mess of blood and cat innards.

The snake stood there panting, their eye ability still activated and glowing purple, watching the spot where the cat’s carcass remained.

Kido blinked.

“I think that was a little overboard.” Kido glanced at the silver-haired being next to her, “You did just kill a seemingly innocent cat.”

“It was not innocent.” Shiro hissed.

As if to prove a point, a sizzling noise could be heard coming from the Kyubey’s carcass.

“Did you cook it?” Kido asked.

The snake snorted, as if they thought Kido’s question was foolish.

The sizzling got louder, and the innards started to shift and lift. The blood literally started to boil.

Suddenly, a loud POOF could be heard, and in that instant another cat identical to the first popped up on the carcass.

Kido and the white snake looked horrified.

“What should we do?”

“Run.”

As Shiro turned to run, Kido grabbed their arm, “Wait!”

Looking back, they noticed the new Kyubey wasn’t chasing them, but was instead licking up the blood and munching on the bones and organs of it’s previous Kyubey.

The snake and Dan leader looked at each other.

“Now can we run?”

“Hell yes.”

Box: Kido and Shiro opens a box in the kitchen to see a talking cat named Kyubey asking them to be magical girls ( hope that you watched Madoka Magika before :3c )

I actually haven’t seen Madoka yet (I know, gasp). But I think I have an idea of how this would go, so let’s give it a try haha

The two blinked as they stared down into the box. A talking cat? Not just any cat, but a very cute cat with a smile on its face.

“C-cute...” Was all Kido murmured out, trying to process the whole situation. She then rubbed her eyes to make sure it wasn’t a dream.

Shiro, on the other hand, frowned. There was something very, very off about this cat. Not just the fact that it can speak, but it’s aura. The white snake, with its heightened senses, sensed a dark and dangerous aura emanating from the soft creature.

Without thinking, Shiro murmured, “You smell.”

The cat looked up innocently at the snake as Kido glanced uneasily at Shiro. Normally the white snake has a blank expression on their face, but this time Kido could see something else was seriously bothering them, which made her nervous.

Shiro continued, “Who are you?”

The cat hopped gracefully out of the box and landed on the kitchen counter, “I’m Kyubey!”

“Yes but what are you?”

“What do you think I am?”

“A cat.” Kido said, not sure why the snake had asked such a silly question in the first place.

Shiro thought for a few moments, arms crossed over their chest, then asked, “So what is this ‘magical girl’...what are the benefits?”

“Oh! Well, it can make you very powerful!” Kyubey chirped happily.

The snake scoffed.

Kyubey looked pointedly at Kido, “It can even erase your eye abilities if you wish: you will be seen again!”

Kido was no idiot, and she knew that it sounded suspicious that this “miracle cure” involved just becoming a magical girl. And how did this thing know about her eye abilities? What are the penalties for becoming a magical girl? There had to be some serious consequence, just like her wish that became her cursed eye ability.

But as she looked into Kyubey’s eyes she felt entranced. The cat’s tail swished back and forth, creating a hypnotizing effect. She found herself taking a step towards the creature...then another step...then another...until-

“Stop.” Shiro grabbed Kido’s arm and pulled her back.

Before Kido could protest, Shiro lunged at Kyubey, their eye abilities full tilt as the snake’s eyes glowed bright purple, and slashed the cat. The creature seemed to partially disappear as Shiro’s hand passed through its body, causing no damage.

“That’s too bad.” Kyubey murmured, its voice not as cheerful and kind as it was before, “If you ever change your mind just call my name.”

And with that the mysterious cat seemed to be sucked into an invisible void, vanishing just as quickly as it had came.

Hope you don’t mind but I’ll be grouping them. I think their reactions will be pretty similar though. Kenjirou and Kano’s ended up longer for some reason…sorry!

Ene and Seto would be traumatized. Both would most likely start crying as soon as they hear the news. Ene would feel useless in her android form, having to ask someone else to bring her to the funeral via a phone. She would use the internet to figure out who the robbers were, and basically ruin their identities online before anonymously sending a digital report to the police so they can get arrested. Seto would need some time alone to help him calm down after what happened. Once he’s recovered enough from the shock he would ask for help from the Mekakushi Dan to track down the robbers and get them arrested.

Kano and Kenjirou would try and be strong, putting up a mask when around others to hide their pain. Once alone though, they would break down and cry. Kenjirou would slam his fist on his desk as tears stream down his face. He would be upset that he lost yet another person he deeply cared for. He would sit and think at his desk for a long time before someone interrupts him. Kano would let himself collapse to the floor once he’s in the safety of his room, tears making their way down his face in streams. He would blame himself even though it was not his fault, thinking that everyone around him always gets hurt.

Ahh okay so where I live we don’t use the word homecoming, and I don’t really know what it means (even after googling it) so I’m going to alter the ask so that they are helping Kano ask the girl to go to a dance. I’m really sorry if I misunderstood and hope you still like it!

Kano was really lenient to ask his two adopted siblings for help.

For one, he is not one to ask for help.

Two, it involved the sensitive subject of a romantic interest.

Three, he wasn’t sure if he could trust those two buffoons to help him without messing it up.

After thinking about it, he laughed to himself, thinking, ‘Man, either way, this is going to be super amusing. All I gotta do is watch how they’d mess it up…’ The last thought made him sigh and slouch is shoulders slightly, his smiling mask still on his face.

“Something bothering you?” Seto said as he walked past Kano, making the blond jolt.

Kano turned and grinned, saying offhandedly, “Nah, just wondering how I will ask this girl to a dance.”

Seto stared at the blond with a very blank face.

Kano stared back for a moment, until he realized he had unintentionally said what was on his mind.

Too bad his mask didn’t cover his words this time.

‘Shit.’ Kano thought, watching as Seto’s eyes widened.

Seto smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head, “W-well, if you want help, I can try my best.”

“Ah well I guess I cou-”

“I can help too.” Kido spoke from the couch.

Kano jumped again at the sudden voice, having realized too late that his sister was there the whole time. Thanks to her lower sense of presence he didn’t see her at the corner of his eye.

The blond let out another sigh.

Kido looked at Seto, “I don’t think we were supposed to know about this.”

Seto chuckled, “Yeah, but cat’s out of the bag now.”

Kano looked back and forth between his two siblings. He might as well give it a try…

First up was Kido.

Right off the bat it proved futile. When Kido tried calling out to the girl of Kano’s interest they ignored the green haired female. Rather, the girl didn’t even “see” Kido.

Eventually Kido just stomped right in front of the girl, causing the love interest to bump into the masculine-looking young woman. The girl let out a frightened ‘eek!’ and starting apologizing profusely. As Kido tried to calm the girl down her natural glare scared the poor girl even farther, causing her to run away.

Not only did Kido look defeated afterwards, but she also looked hurt.

As Seto patted the Dan leader’s back, she murmured, “First she didn’t see me, then she thought I was a thug.”

In the background they could hear Kano’s stifled laughter. Yes, he was disappointed at first, but then he realized the hilarity of the whole scene.

Next was Seto.

All went surprisingly well. Kano and Kido watched from a distance as Seto talked to the girl. His smiling face and kind personality seemed to set the girl at ease. The conversation ended with the girl smiling and waving goodbye as Seto walked away.

“He’s good with people.” Kido remarked.

Once Seto made it over to the two siblings, he grinned proudly, “It’s done!”

Kano grinned back, “Really?”

“Yup! She said ‘See you at the dance!’”

Kido interrupted with a frown, “Wait, ‘you’ as in Kano, right?”

Seto paused, then his face went pale, “O-oops….”

Before anything else could be said he was running back in the direction of the girl.

‘I got beat by my own brother without him even knowing…’ Kano amusingly thought to himself.

In the end, Kano just went and asked the girl himself, with his two siblings watching and silently cheering him on from in the bushes nearby. Kano’s natural charm and flirty personality - and a strong mask put on his face - won the girl over very quickly, surprising him. It turns out the girl also had interest in him too even before he asked her to the dance.
