Chapter one of my fanfiction has been written for a while now, but I've been hesitant to post it. Mainly because I've been trying to make it flow nicer, and because I wanted there to be art in each chapter (or at the very least a comic-style cover for it)

Random Jaiden art to go with some info ^^

Jaiden is an artsy kid. Its actually what gets his teachers to become frustrated with him.

Unlike gosalyn, who just struggles with school (and overall dosent like it) and Honker, who excells in it - Jaiden is somewhere in the middle. He dosent really struggle, rather he just dosent apply himself very often.

He wont do an assigment if he's decided it's not useful and even when he does do his work, its often turned in late. Not because he procrastinates (although he does do that from time to tome) but because he'll go beyond what was originally asked for especially if its something he's passionate for

Jaiden excells in classes that allow him to tinker and be creative. (He's the one who ussually makes new gear for him and Quiverwing) Honker does aswell, but the stuff he makes lacks in structural stability. Its how the two differ.

Jaiden's code isnt always right, but his stuff lasts.

Not sure when I'll post my fanfics on there, but I promise I will!

I'de like to think thst Negaduck does worry for the fearsome four, though its not something he'd outwardly admit.

He'd arrange heists specified for whichever of the fearsome 4 were down in the dumps. Lets say Megavolt, for example, was really really out of it, and the fearsome 5's next heist just so happens to be at a lightbulb factory. The other 3 continuesly complain about the lack of a purpose for this heist, and Negaduck just shrugs and says he needed bulbs for something. Meanwhile Megs is living his best life collecting as many "helpless" bulbs as he can.

Negaduck wouldnt go out of his way to seriously harm kids. While yes, he wont hesitate to use that bumbling little girl (Gosalyn) to lure Darkwing somewhere, and he'll attack Quiverwing Quack no problem. I dont think that means he's going out of his way to hurt her. She just so happens to be in the way of his destruction.

Otherwise I think he becomes uncomfortable when it comes to involving children in his schemes if it could get them seriously hurt. He dosent want that type of murder on his hands.

Negaduck HATES romance movies and slice of life shows. They're so unbelievable cheesy to him. On the other hand he LOVES enjoys horror films and action movies. Particularly ones with loads of explosions. Those are cool.

Say hi to Jaiden ya'll, my DWD oc.

I've seen people complain that she didn't have a tomboy pesonality, and while thats fair, I think that the DT17 Darkwing Duck spinoff (reboot- idk I think it would've been both if it was basing off of DT17's Darkwing) would've expanded her personality aswell as her sporty side. I understand peoples frustrations with her feeling like another webby, which I understand, I think that it wouldnt of mattered if the DWD spinoff had happened. I highly doubt that any of the duck kids would've been reoccuring characters. (Mabey dewey? Who knows)

Also, i just dont see as many similarities between Webby and Gosalyn as I've heard or read people list/complain about.

Webby was the smart weird kid. That just so happened to be really smart when it came to combat and mystical artifacts.

Where as, Gosalyn, from the episodes we got that she was in, was portrayed as less trusting and street smart. I think she would've been very straightforward and brash.

At the end of the dat, everyones allowed to have their opinions. I just thought I'de share mine. Wether you like Gosalyn DT17 or not, I hope you can see what I'm trying to say.

On one hand, I want my DWD AU to look like DWD91, but on the other hand I want to draw in my style.
