// yooo i havent been online for so long time
anyway here i am now!!Â
â
send a â and my muse will cry in front of yours.
The Hakuryuu was leaning against the tree, pressing his hands against his right leg that seemed to be injured by looking at the big wound and how it was covered by blood. He had tried to stand up few times, but he couldnât, he always fell down.Â
-
He had said that this time he wanted to be useful and go to the town to buy food alone. He wanted to do it alone because he thought that way the princess would start appreciating him more than she already did.
Usually he could have sensed enemy, but this time he had not been as careful as he usually was. Probably because this town seemed to be so full of life and he didnât think anything could happen. But in the end he had done something really reckless that had harmed him seriously.
-
Now he was there sitting in the forest, tears already forming in the corners of his eyes. It had been really hard to walk here.Â
He knew that Yona and the others still thought he was at the town.
Soon he heard steps behind himself, then someone saying âWhite Snakeâ. No way. Not now. He heard the other one asking what was he doing here. He clenched his fists and looked up at Hak.
â â "Tell the others⌠Iâll be coming later.. You can start walking to the next place already- I think I wont be able to walk for a whileâ"he told the raven haired one and looked down again, feeling how a tear fell down along his cheeks. He was feeling horrible, frustrated. He had made himself look weak in front of Hak - he was crying in front of the person who he really didnât want to see be the one to see his tears.Â
Dark blue eyes narrowed at the white dragon as he stood up âYes, it is like that shiro hebi, after allâŚwho is relying on you?â He snickered as his hands turned into fists, his mind was clouded, he didnât understand what the other was actually saying. He was trying to solve his own problem but kept drowning in the depth of those DARK thoughts that filled his core.
âFight it. Stand up, donât give up. If you are like that you canât protect the princess, stand up from sheer will powerâŚ.if you canât do even thatâŚâ He turned to face him a dark grin on his face âYou really will deserve your fate.â
What was that? Since when had Hak been talking like that? Yes, Hak had always been calling him âwhite snakeâ, that wasnât anything different, but his other words... Was he trying to motivate him or just make him feel depressed?
âIf you canât do even that, you really will deserve your fateâ
At that sentence, Kijaâs eyes had widened again, now wider than earlier. He was shivering. Just what was with that look Hak had on his face? And was it really okay to him if Kija wouldnât be continue helping the princess?
But then, Kija decided that he would try, now in front of Hak to stand.Â
He tried it with all of his powers, trying to motivate himself to do it, but... he couldnât.Â
â... if I wonât be able to walk, itâs true I wonât be able to protect the princess. But if I understood correctly, you guys need white dragon, donât you? -- If I wonât be here, the new one will be born, you just have to wait a couple of years or more but at least there will be another one that will be able to help you.â
âSo... maybe if I die, youâll be able to do thatâ
"Stop being so -" finish it in my ask.

He was feeling horrible, frustrated. He had made himself look weak in front of Hak - he was crying in front of the person who he really didnât want to see be the one to see his tears.Â
Yep. Hak is in a bad mood.
He didnât reply first, then he bit his lip. What was he supposed to say? Just tell him the truth? He was again so confused. Since when had he been thinking this way?
"I canât walk."
He decided that it was better to not say anything else. â Kija knew that Yoon had been so sure that it should work in ten minutes, but still it didnât seem to be working. Maybe this time Yoon had been wrong about it?
But at the same time he really wanted to know what was wrong with Hak.
He cracked his knuckles as his hand twitched, itching to punch skin, to hear a scream, a reaction. He wanted him D E A D. Since when had he started feeling like this way? After the night of the murder, after that painful night. He moved forward yet again as he twisted around his weapon, cutting the air, imagining, that in there {he} stood
He drank some sake letting its taste warm him up because right now, his eyes were cold as ice âYou canât walk? Well, arenât you useless.â He stated as he gulped it down and then his eyes narrowed at the other âKeep on trying to stand up then until you fall down a thousand times.â Those words werenât only for the white dragon to hear but he was talking to himself as well.
At that time, Kija's eyes widened. Useless. He probably shouldn't have reacted like that, but he felt like someone would have just crushed his last hopes.
"Is that so?"
Kija could hear what Hak had said after the first sentence, but he didn't pay attention on that one. He was so down due to the first one.
He didn't want to give up, but he didn't know what he could do. If he couldn't stand up now, how could he stand up later?
"-- Since you're so smart and you seem to know everything right now, then you tell me, what am I supposed to do if I really can't walk anymore"
He was being sarcastic, but at the same time serious. He wanted to hear the answer.

He had tried to get up now few times, but he had always fallen down. He could still move his leg, but only a bit and everytime when he did that, it hurt.
He was furious. Furious because he didnât know what to do and furious because he would again be making the others worry.
Soon he heard a familiar, annoying and somehow a bit dark voice asking something. Hak. He sounded like he wasnât in the best mood.
"Mm-m, but it seems youâre not having the best mood, huh?"
There was no way he was going to tell Hak that he couldnât walk. He wouldnât make himself look more humiliating in front of the raven haired man. He had already done that twice.
But the truth was that Kija was looking like he was in pain, so Hak probably could realize that pretty easily. But the white dragon didnât want to think about it.
His movements were precise. This would have cut {his} throat, this one would have pierced {his} stomach, this one would have blinded him. This one would have killed him in an instant. This beast was roaring, if anyone dared to approach him now, they would regret it. His eyes were so focused, like a killing machine and maybe he was one.
As he sat next to the tree, he glared at the white snake âYou got a probem with that?â Yup wrong time Kija, he grinned slightly âYou arenât feeling better, huh?â
Yep. Hak is in a bad mood.

But it didnât take a long time, and he was already sleeping and the medicine was starting to affect.
-
When he woke up, he was feeling dizzy and still really tired. The Hakuryuu rubbed his eyes, blinking only to see that everyone was still sleeping. So he did wake up earlier than they? That was rare.
But he wasnât feeling that pain anymore, he was so glad. The medicine really worked.Â
He was going to wake up the others, but when he stood up, he immediately fell down once again. No wayâŚ
The medicine was supposed to take ten minutes to start working, but still he couldnât walk. What was this?
He couldnât do anything else but wait until the others woke up.
Whispers seized him. Dark whispers. That begged for murder, for release. They kept on clouding the generalâs mind, as the body of the young dragon was resting near him, twitching around in pain. But the thoughts of the man with the will of steel had nothing to do with him. He held on his weapon tightly, he was not in a good mood at all. Â After he saw that traitor, his eyes darkened, his soul begged for revenge.
   Those
 whispers

 ALONE.
His arms were shaking as he reached for his weapon, the images of the traitor King reached his mind and he punched the tree with all his strength, as his eyes were burning with rage. How much he wished, he could have done it at that moment. HOW MUCH.
Hak stood up, he needed to blow off some steam. After of hours of training, he headed back to their spot and noticed that the white snake had woken up.
"Oh, you are alive, huh?" He muttered darkly as he sat next to the tree.
The Hakuryuu was staring at the ground, his hair was a bit messy and the look in his eyes was telling that he was feeling strange. He didn't know how to react. Kija took the cup in his hands and took the medicine, then looking up at Yoon.
â â âHow long itâll take for it to start affecting?â â â âAnd.. what if it doesnât work?â
"It will take about 10 minutes. You donât trust my abilities?" He frowned slightly at that "It will work.â
Kija sighed heavily, feeling again sorry for saying something. He just wanted to go back and do everything he did today in a different way. He honestly hated this day so much.
-- -- "Of course, sorry for asking--"
He looked at Hak. He honestly was kind of glad that Hak had punched him earlier. Who knows what would have happened if he would have stayed alone? But still he didn't want to admit it.

He just wished Yoon could do something. He really didnât want to die. He had something big to do with the others, he couldnât die just because he wasnât careful enough. He would never forgive himself for that.

Sk-i-j-a:
The white dragon felt so bad for again causing them troubles. If he would have been a bit more careful.. this would have not happened. Everyone would have started walking to the another place, not stay here.
â ââG..goodâŚâ
The Hakuryuu looked at Hak, a sad smile on his face. He had never felt this weak. He also hated how he couldnât blame anyone else for this. It was completely his own fault. He could have been more careful, he knew it.
And then all of sudden, he started coughing. The poison had started affecting. He coughed blood. It didnât stop for a while. And it hurt. There was nothing he could do to make it stop.
For the white snake to smile at a time like this, maybe the poison was rather powerful. Sapphire orbs widened slightly as he heard the white dragon cough loudly and then red painted the skin of the dragon. He narrowed his eyes this was serious.
"I will call, Yoon." And with that he headed to find the young boy.
Kija couldn't stop the coughing. He just nodded when he heard what Hak said and the coughing continued. What on earth was going on? Was the poison this powerful? It couldn't be. It just couldn't.

Kija ignored everything else Hak said, but when he said he would have to wait even longer, Kija looked down, wrinkling his eyebrows. Wait a bit longer? It would be hard, because the pain was getting just stronger and stronger since the poison was starting to affect his whole body.â â âIs he sure it works?â Kija needed to know that. He wasnât going to wait if they werenât sure. He wanted to know that for sure, now. âAnd if it doesnât work, do you know anything else that would?â Kijaâs voice was already shivering a bit. And he was starting to get more worried.
"Yes, he is. He has been working on it for quite sometime, inside his tent." The former general mused looking at the starry sky "Hm? I donât happen to know, I am not particulary you know used to working with poisons."
The white dragon felt so bad for again causing them troubles. If he would have been a bit more careful.. this would have not happened. Everyone would have started walking to the another place, not stay here.

The Hakuryuu looked at Hak, a sad smile on his face. He had never felt this weak. He also hated how he couldn't blame anyone else for this. It was completely his own fault. He could have been more careful, he knew it.
And then all of sudden, he started coughing. The poison had started affecting. He coughed blood. It didn't stop for a while. And it hurt. There was nothing he could do to make it stop.
â
send a â and my muse will cry in front of yours.
Kija was really annoyed by how Hak was acting, not that it would be something new. Kija hated the fact he was feeling too much pain to say anything that would annoy Hak. He just couldnât believe it was Hak who found him like this.Â
"Hak. Donât.â
he said in a serious tone. He didnât want Hak to go and tell the others. He didnât want the others to see him like this. If he wasnât even good enough to protect himself, how would he be able to protect the princess? No. He knew he was good enough, but he just couldnât believe he had let something hurt himself.
â â âThe sword that did this wound was poisonedâ
he stated, looking forward. "â just donât tell anyone. Itâs already too much to me that an idiot like you saw me like this. So donât make me feel even more humiliating, will you?"
he had the feeling Hak wasnât going to listen to him, but he had to try.Â
"So if I let you like this, you would die? You know, you are gonna cause trouble for the princess, donât you white snake? If you die, she will be sad. Also the white dragon will need to be reborn and we canât fight against Soo-Won with a baby, so yup no choice but to save ya." Hak mused with a sigh as he punched the otherâs head "That will keep you quiet." And with that he headed to find Yoon.
After some minutes he was back along with the rest of the group who were looking at Kija worried.
Kija sighed and looked at Hak. He knew Hak was saying the truth, but what could they do if Kija was injured like this? What if they couldn't do anything? Kija would only make it harder to move to another places, that was the truth.
-- -- "But Hak, don't you underst--"
and soon he didn't see anything but black. That idiot Hak had punched him so he had lost his consciousness.
After few hours, Kija woke up. He was surprised. It was already dark. And more importantly, he was still feeling the pain in his leg.
His body felt weak, weaker than earlier. He could see that Yona was still awake, so was Hak. Yona was practicing, like she always did, and Hak was leaning against the tree, looking at the sky. Why was Hak awake?
-- -- "You punched me earlier, didn't you? You just wait until I'm better... I'll punch even harder.."
he said to Hak and hissed when he felt the pain once again.
"-- Anyway.. did Yoon find anything that could help?"
