Hey sweeties, it’s been a little since I’ve dropped in. I just wanted to share this beautiful video that some people in our community have made, and I think it deserves so many more views than it has. If you haven’t heard, we are at our prime right now. We are being noticed by news outlets left and right and so many articles are being made. Netflix has been called out, it’s all over the place. They tweeted about shows that have adults play teenagers, and an article talked about how Everything Sucks had actual teenagers play teenagers, so Netflix really isn’t making any sense, etc.
We’ve sent over 1500 ringpops to Netflix and over 1000 pride flags. Let’s keep this up! Don’t give up hope, they can’t ignore us!
As of right now we are really pushing to get Peyton or Syd or both, just anyone from the show on The Ellen Show. If you don’t know who Ellen is, she is a huge icon for the lgbtq+ community who actually came out in the 90s, which was very big for the community. She hosts a talk show that tons upon tons of people watch. If we can get one of our cast members on there, hopefully more attention will be brought to the subject. Tweet at Ellen, email her, etc! Tell her why this matters!
