not a good idea?

Bored out of his mind, Sivlak was sitting on top of a table and singing a song with a guitar he’d found. “We don’t need no education…” He trailed off, before another voice emerged and started singing a different tune. “Trusssst in me, jusssst in me.” Unaware of his mash-up, he continued on to the next line. “We don’t need no thought control. Sssshut your eyesss and trussst in me.”

“That’s a pretty nifty song, I don’t think I’ve ever heard it before,” Julia interrupted, sitting on the table next to the other. “You know, it kind of reminds me of something, but I just can’t put my finger on it. Did you get your inspiration for it from something else?” She asked, sure she had heard something like it before.

Rae had hidden in a shop when all of the excitement had started, since he wasn’t good with screaming and panicking mobs of people. However, while in hiding, he’d started hearing a voice in his head…and it wasn’t his own. It wasn’t necessarily a threatening voice either, as it mostly kept talking about inventions and finding its assistants, but it was still a cause for concern. Deciding that he’d go see if the excitement had died down a bit (and if anyone else was hearing voices), Rae left the store. Soon after leaving, he saw someone walk up to him. “O-Oh, h-hello.” He said softly.

“Hi, there!” She greeted excitedly, her spirit never dying down since the whole fiasco had started. “I don’t think we’ve met yet. I’m Julia and I can help you with whatever you need. Do you need any water or something to eat? I can get that for you right away,” she explained, voice light and cheery. She absolutely loved helping others -- even if it was unwelcome or unneeded.

Sure, this situation was absolutely terrifying, but Freddie was determined to lighten the mood.  It was for this reason that he plopped down next to someone that he thought looked stressed (though it was entirely possible that they weren’t) and held out a paper fortune teller that he made.  “Pick a color.”

Julia was startled when there was a sudden body next to her, but she was quick to smile brightly in delight as she examined the paper contraption. “Oh, I love these sorts of things! Okay, how about pink?” She said, curious to see what kind of fortune would be revealed -- one she would undoubtedly believe.

“Oh my gosh, do you smell that?” A loud giggle escaped Anna before she twirled about, a large grin plastered on her lips. She had been trying for quite some time for her presence to emerge from the boy and it was the faint scent of chocolate that finally managed to bring her out completely. While she was just a voice in the back of Caleb’s mind, she was much more than that right now – she was in control and she was going to use this time to her advantage. Deciding to follow the scent of food she quickly headed down Main Street, only to end up bumping into a stranger. “–Are you okay? Oh gosh, I should really be more careful.” Her words came out flustered and jumbled as she examined the other, an apologetic smile reaching her lips. “Well now that you’re here, is there any way you could point me in the direction of some food? Preferably chocolate, and lots of it.”

For a moment, she stood in a daze, trying to catch sight of the children she was meant to be watching. They were gone. Swallowed up almost instantly by the manic crowd, and the young nanny was at a loss as to what to do. Moving off to the side, Sora hoisted herself up onto a bench, standing atop it to get a better vantage point…but no–the kids were still lost in the throng and out of sight, “Oh no…no no–oh, what have I done? What have I done–Kyla! Rod–E-excuse me?” She hopped down, grabbing the arm of the next person she saw, “Have you seen a pair of twins? About–this high, both with brown hair..once’s a boy, one’s a girl–blue eyes. They’re wearing yellow mickey mouse shirts–I can’t find them anywhere.”

Felix had attempted to take cover, however the action seemed to be more of a hassle then anything. People were frantically panicking, trying the squeeze into the small area. Felix had been pressed up against the wall, grunting as he felt the person in front of him bump their elbow into his side. “ Hey, if whoever keeps elbowing me in the ribs could stop.. that would be great. “

Julia was smaller than most and was an expert on working with crowds, but being in a crowd of this many people and with her costume still on made it a bit difficult -- especially to breath. She had tried her best to be wary of everyone’s personal space, but apparently she failed by the sound of it. She turned and gave the other an apologetic smile. “Oh gosh, I am so sorry about that. We haven’t seen everyone so energetic and together like this since the Revolution,” she joked, knowing that humor was always good to have no matter the moment. “I’m just having a hard time seeing over everyone, I’m afraid.”

“Oh my gosh…  Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh…”  Natalie muttered to herself, eyes on the ground and hands clutching her hair tightly.  “This…  This is crazy, this isn’t happening, this is just a crazy nightmare and I’m gonna wake up and everything’s gonna be fine…”

As an employee, it was Julia’s jobs to ensure that the crowd kept relatively calm -- even if she herself had no idea what was going on and her panic mode was trying to set itself off. She heard the other speaking to herself and saw the obvious distress, approaching the female carefully and with a gentle smile. “Hey, there. Everything will be alright, okay? Mickey is just having a bit of trouble with his magic right now, but it’ll all be taken care of and you’ll be getting on your way home soon. Maybe try something to eat?”
