Alright, first up is this song which has been stuck in my head for about two days now. I think this song is absolutely stunning.

From a musical standpoint, the way it’s written is just incredible. It’s been written that the accompaniment directly backs up the emotion in the text and the singer’s voice. It’s got great chord progressions, and I love the key change. It plays around in a couple different keys for a few measures and then finally changes to, I think, a brighter sounding key for the third verse.

This song is just so charged with emotion and you can tell that this song must’ve really come from somewhere deep when he wrote it.
