me when i realize that nothing is permanent and i need to stop clinging onto the idea that if i achieve this or that i am going to unlock the secret to happiness as if happiness was a fixed point in one’s life and not a multifaceted and elusive state when life is just a series of challenges and ups and downs and i must learn to go with the flow and accept that things will always change whether it’s my emotions or my relationships or my Self™ and that everything tends towards entropy it’s a permanent cycle of death and rebirth throughout all aspects of my life

Sometimes you can never explain why you love someone, somehow the words are never enough to express it. Maybe it’s just the completeness you feel in your heart when they hold you, or maybe the smile on your face when they tell stupid jokes, or maybe the way your soul calms when they watch you. It’s just the way they make you feel. That is true. Don’t try to explain it. Just feel it.

Too many people are trying to find the right person instead of being the right person.

I thought about your love, and how it was significantly different from all of the others. I thought about your words and how every time you spoke it sounded like a quiet rainfall sent to quench the drought in my soul. I thought about your laughter and how it sent echoes of life through my worn out soul. I thought about your hands, and how the thought of them tangled in mine made me forget the weight life had handed them to carry. You give me comfort, after I drained myself giving it to those around me. And you may think that’s what makes you different- but it’s the fact that never have I asked of you, and never have you stopped giving.
