ESSENTIAL is a lifestyle brand that acts as a bridge between the past and future of pop culture. Where as most brands focus on trends or new found popularity, Essential focuses its energy on the art and aesthetics made popular in the past, while keeping track of talent and trends on the brink of mainstream popularity. The definition of ESSENTIAL is extremely important; Absolutely necessary and creatively thats what we feel we will provide. Founded by Cody Howard, a technical graphic designer from the Bronx, he reminisces on a time when Hip-Hop culture was rapidly becoming popular culture -- what some would call the "Hip-Hop renaissance." During this time, Hip-Hop culture was rapidly becoming POPULAR culture. Furthermore, knowledge of self and individual expression was greatly practiced and widely encouraged. With ESSENTIAL, Cody aims to bring back the inspiration and innovation of the early 90's with the execution of the 2000's in 2018 and beyond!
