I went to the beach with my 1957 Kodak Pony IV and all my photos came back super hazy and old-looking. It is okay if you want to pretend I took these is 1957

August happenings ✨
Overall all this is a less chaotic and tense month compared to July. Things are shifting, ending.. but by the end of the month we will feel able to actually push forward with things that have been in the works for months. Sun moving into Virgo brings some order. Allow change and healing to come, see what the past has been trying to teach you and see how it manifests this month.
August 6th: Venus moves into Libra, in its domicile, adding a pleasant and harmonious energy to how we show affection, love and values. Wanting to connect and experience life’s beauty.
August 7th: Uranus stations retrograde-Uranus moved into Taurus in May but with this retrograde it will actually move back to 28 degrees Aries before moving forward again. There are still some changes required in aries we must address. Time for internal change and introspection.
August 11th: Partial solar eclipse(new moon) in Leo-new beginnings relating to your self expression and ego.
August 11th: The sky lights up. Perseid Meteor Shower!
August 18th: Jupiter trine Neptune-lovely stronger aspect inciting compassion, creativity and magical connections.
August 19th: Mercury stations direct-now is the time to put into action what you learned during this retrograde.
August 22nd: Sun moves into Virgo-month long theme of being more service oriented, organizing, finding solutions, being helpful, looking at the details.
August 26th: Full moon in Pisces-the balance between serving the physical and the spiritual.
August 27th: Mars stations direct in Capricorn-the time to push forward has come. Putting your goals into motion.
I couldn’t help it, I needed to draw them in the iconic Princess Mononoke scene.

Trans girl needs runaway home
HEY Okay so originally I wasn’t going to make one of these. However I talked it over with my girlfriend and she told me to make this. So I am!
TLDR: My girlfriend (@pastelaffinity) NEEDS SOMEONE TO HOUSE HER. She is in a terribly abusive home and risks her life staying much longer. She is a RUNAWAY! Therefore, if you house her, you need to keep her under wraps and be in a good place legally. (i.e no one coming into your house) THEY CAN ONLY MOVE SOMEWHERE IN MID KANSAS BC THEY DON’T HAVE MONEY.
She’s a really kind gal and deserves a lot better than she gets and I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU REBLOGGED THIS!!! If someone you know or trust can house her, or you yourself can, DM ME OR HER. REBLOG > LIKES
Please help if you can!
someone tell me how to walk in heels without crying
Ok. First: when buying heels make sure to buy at the end of the day. Like you should have been up and about for hours before trying them on. This way your feet at their most swollen which means when you wear them you will have room for when they swell up.
Second: break them in. Wear them around the house for 30 minutes a day for a few days before you wear them out the first time. I usually do this for 3-7 days, the higher the heel the more days you do. This helps your feet and leg muscles get used to walking in them. If they still hurt the same they did on day one by the third day though return them, they are cut wrong for your feet.
Third: if the shoes allow for it try wearing those little socks with the cushion pads on the heel and ball of the foot. If the shoe doesn’t allow for that use band-aids friction block stick to protect those areas and reapply when it becomes uncomfortable. do not wait until it already hurts, it’s a blister by then.
This is what I do with my heels and I’m usually pretty good wearing 4 inchers for like 6 hours (not daily mind you). So these tips should help.
THANK YOU
Tips from a drag queen!
Step down with the MIDDLE of your foot. I know the sound of heel-toe stepping in heels is a great sound, but it’s horrible for your feet/legs and will increase chances of you breaking the heel (especially for pointed heels and stilettos).
Resist the urge to let your butt jut out like a duck! This is horrible for your lower back and can cause serious pain. Once in your heels and situated, let your pelvis drop and bend your knees a little so your tail bone can tuck down, it’ll help relieve tension in your lower back. Check in with this when you’re standing for long periods of time.
Use mole skin on areas where your feet might rub! I always stick some down on the backs on heels that tend to chew up the back of my feet.
Most importantly, keep your head high, shoulders back, and walk with confidence! This seriously helps with keeping an even gait and strut. You’ll wobble less and get into the groove of walking much easier. Take it from a street queen who often wears 6 inch heels on a weekly basis, your body will thank you and you’ll feel less sore (if at all) the next day.
