Need a little motivation to get into the fall spirit? 

I warmed up my house with some pumpkin spice muffins stuffed with sweet cream cheese! It got everyone in the happiest mood!

Hey dessert eaters! 

Fear not, I am still baking and well! Just EXTREMELY busy with school, work, and just life. BUT with fall here (more here for some of us than others- heat wave here in California), it means it is pumpkin bread time! 

While I personally am not a fan of pumpkin spice or the like, who isn't a sucker for pumpkin bread.. or at least the warm fuzzy feeling it brings to your kitchen? Be patient with me my friends, and I promise to deliver mouth watering pumpkin bread and other fall-tastic goodies to you! 

Hi everyone! 

I just wanted to give an update on my blog and my status. 

I know I haven't been posting a lot, and this is because I am trying to post mostly the things I personally bake. I know there are tons of pictures i have posted from when I was on vacation, of cute little desserts, but now that I'm home, I'm trying to stick to my home made goodies. 

With that being said, I do work 2 full time jobs, and am about to going back to school. So I apologize in advance that I will not be posting as frequently as I would like. 

I know it is easier to continue to post pictures of things I encounter, but Id like to show the world what I can do.

Hi everyone! 

I just got back to the states! I have been majorly lagging on my posts, but as soon as i am back in the groove of things (jet lag, unpacking, work) etc, i will reposting much more regularly again! 

In the mean time, here are some things to look forward to! 

I will be playing around with fondant and be updating you all with my progress (still nervous about this one!)

I will be making my self 21st birthday cupcakes (why buy cupcakes when you can make your own fabulous cupcakes!) 

And I will be making the perfect beach friendly cupcakes! 

Along with these ill make sure to share with you any sweets I eat! (like my brownies i made along with the banana bread muffins I made for breakfast!) 

When I go to Japan I always have to make a stop at Mister Donuts! The left is a french HONEY donut, and the right is a powdered sugar donut.  Pair it with coffee, and you have the perfect afternoon treat!

Hi Everyone! 

Long time, no post! I took a mini vacation within a vacation and went to Hokkaido for the first time! I got to milk a cow, drink freshly made milk, and have fresh seafood! 

While we were in Hokkaido we went to a factory for the cookie company shiroi koibito (白い恋人). The company is famous for their white chocolate cookies. We got to tour a museum that had a history of all kinds of chocolate all around the world, and we got to see the production line for their famous cookies. 

It was defiantly a unique experience, and at the very end there was a cafe with adorable freshly baked cakes and treats. 

The cake pictured below is shaped as a cat, and flavored like tiramisu. The cup was filled with tiramisu cake, whipped cream, and the head of the cookie was made out of a small cake and chocolate whipped cream. The ears, eyes, tongue, tail, and whiskers are made with their famous rich chocolate!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you’re all having a good day! Yesterday I got to go to one of my favorite places- Tokyo Disney Sea! Why is it one of my favorite places? Well besides the fact that I love Disney… They have a palace/land completely dedicated to my favorite princess, Ariel!

Greetings from Japan! 

I have ALOT of things I LOVE about coming home to Japan, and these goodies are one of them!  They're custard filled pieces of heaven! They used to be shaped like fish (would have been more entertaining for the pictures sake) but besides the plain circular shape that they now hold, they still taste wonderful. 

The breading is extremely moist and fluffy. It holds almost a pancake-y texture, plain flavored with a hint of sweetness. They sell them at the local grocery stores, but they're much much better when they're fresh! We buy them at the local department store, where the workers make them fresh for you right before your eyes! 

To anyone that lives here, these are probably not that special, but its just one of the many things I love about coming home. Its just one of those things.
