Hey friends how y’all doing I hope you are doing well like I’m not going to stop complaining about this heat today was so hot I was sweating bad omg but it’s ok life still goes on and yeah tell how you like this and if you see any mistakes look the other way ok baiii💋

“This is terrifying.” Minho thought. “But you’ll survive this Lee Minho… please let me survive!” 

“Alright and we’re here!” 

“... What exactly are we supposed to see?” Chan asked, looking around to see nothing but the sky above and deep water below you. 

“Hang on, I just need to get something out of my bag…” You turned the engine off, leaving you all in deep silence as your boyfriends take in the scenic view. 

“Man… if one of us falls, eugh!” Changbin mumbles, feeling a great chill run down his spine. 

“Don’t say that.” Hyunjin grumbled, tightening his life vest as tight as he could around himself. 

“Okay, let me show you the best part about my job. Would one of you like to try blowing the whale horn?” You suggested, holding up an enormous shell shaped horn. 

“I’ll give it a go.” Felix excitedly offered, taking a deep breath in and started blowing into it. 

But the sound barely traveled a great distance. 

“Heh, watch and learn, Hyung.” Jeongin was next to try, however it was nearly the same result that Felix had. 

“You were saying?” Felix teased before Seungmin stepped over. 

“Let me try.” 

He did a lot better but still, there wasn’t enough power put into the horn. 

“Alright, I’ll show you guys.” You chuckled out, carefully taking the horn into your hands to blow into it as hard as you could. 

The power you had in your lungs was beyond what they could fathom. Honestly, if you ever felt like you wanted a change in career, being a singer might be your next best shot. You continued blowing the horn for another good ten to twelve minutes to then stop, utterly out of breath. 

“Phew… now wait…” 

They all stayed quiet, observing their surroundings till they heard a huge splash of water. Then another and then another. Within minutes, the boat was practically surrounded by a whole pod of whales. 

“Meet my extended family, boys…” You said, moving to the edge of the boat to see one of the largest humpback whales swim up to you. “Hey Momma? How have you been?” 

It’s almost too good to be true when the whale lets out a joyous whistle. 

“Where’s the little one?” 

The moment you asked, you see a tiny splash of water being shot into the air. 

“There she is! Aren’t you a pretty whale?” You sang out to hear the young calf smack its flipper playfully into the water. 

“I can’t believe it… our girlfriend is a whale whisperer.” Jisung whispered. 

“It’s absolutely amazing.” Felix adds. 

“How did you even get acquainted with these whales?” Hyunjin asked. 

“Ummm crazy story but remember that one time I told you all that I’d be away for a week before letting you all know it’s actually going to be a month?” 

“Yeah?” Changbin hummed out. 

“I was recovering in the hospital for most of that time away.” 

“Excuse me?! And you didn’t bother telling us?” Jeongin cried out. 

“I didn’t want to worry you.” 

“Well we’re worrying right now!”

“What happened?” Seungmin asked. 

“Well I fell off the boat because a tiger shark had–” 

“THERE WAS A SHARK?!” Felix screamed. 

“Yes a shark, once I hit the water, I realized I was too far from the boat so I tried to swim back to it. In the midst of me swimming, I saw this pod of whales surrounding me. A female humpback, the matriarch I assumed protected me. She gently pushed me onto her back, letting me cling into her flipper as she dragged me to safety. Honestly one of the best days of my life to be a marine biologist. And that’s why, every year, I have to come back to visit them. Am I right girl?” 

The large whale behind you sang out a melody. 

Chan just calmly walked over, squatting next to you before reaching his hand out to place over the whale's head as he looked at her and she looked back at him. 

“Thank you.” He gratefully spoke. 

“Yeah, thank you.” Changbin joined in. 

“I sure owe you a lot.” Hyunjin said as he too placed his hand over her head. 

Before you know it, all of your boyfriends came over to place their hands over her head in thanks. 

She may not understand a single word, but spiritually you feel like she knows their gestures are one of gratitude. 

She stays still, watching you all with curiosity. Her small calf swam by her side singing beautiful songs for all of you to enjoy and join along. You all stayed on the boat, watching and singing with the whales. 

Even Jeongin had a little too much fun when he and the baby whale tried to out-sing each other with the highest note. 

“Please tell me we’re doing this next year.” Chan questions, smiling proudly at you. 

“Of course and you’re all more than welcome to join me.”
