i love charmed, it's my favourite show but honestly if you can't see why a reboot featuring a more diverse cast in both ethnicity and sexual orientations then i don't know what to say. you really ought to give the show a chance, no one ever said it had to be a carbon copy of the original.

well mostly i don’t see the point of any reboots tbh. it just screams that they have no creativity left in hollywood. so most reboots i don’t bother giving a chance because it’s not the same. yes, i should be more excited for a poc cast, being a poc myself but charmed has this really special meaning to me. it is because of charmed that me and my fiance met. with reboots you only get two outcomes: either its really good or it flops really hard. my fear is that its gonna be the latter and then the original show will be ruined because of it. idek i may watch the first episode but probably wont spend my time gifing it because i want to make this blog dedicated to the original show, the show that i love so completely and will defend until my dying breath.

what are your thoughts on the charmed reboot?

I feel like I might not watch it? To me charmed is the three sisters fighting evil and making the world a better place. It ended perfectly and even with all it’s flaws it was a great show. It doesn’t need to be rebooted especially if the reboot & the original have no storylines in common (at least that’s my understanding about the whole thing?). My fiance wants to watch it, but I’m just kinda meh about it. Idek I may watch the first episode? See if I like it. I probably won’t but you never know. But no matter what I’ve already decided that this blog will remain a blog dedicated to the original Charmed show mostly because Charmed has such a special place in my heart and I really love that I have a blog that’s dedicated just to this show. So yeah, this blog will remain only blogging about the originial show, that much I can tell you.

Dropping by to tell you how admirable it is that you produce so much content for the Charmed fandom on such a frequent basis (regardless of how enthralling the show was it ending over a decade ago has inevitably caused a lot of people to forget about it/lose interest. whoops sorry ive kept forgetting to reply to this! thank you. charmed has such a special place in my heart. it is because of charmed that i met my fiance on tumblr. i learned what love is through piper and leo. i am probably always going to keep posting gifs and edits as long as i am on tumblr / there is an audience for it. but thank you messages like this want me to keep going and posting new content :)
