I was yapping about the new descendants film to my girlfriend today and so wanna know what she said??

So my stepmum got me these from her little holiday to France last week. They’re haunting me. Leave me alone, I want to be normal

And to top it of we have JEGULUS!!!!!

• Him and Max are the same character, different font so it would make sense that both of them would be Vecna’d. Additionally, in St4 there is spider (mind flayer)/001 imagery surrounding him just like how max had spider imagery in St2. ( this was pointed out by lesbianmindflayer)

• Then there is Nancy’s vision from season 4. Most of it has come true. Holly, Karen, the soldiers. Everything except Mike.

• Tying into the previous point, all of the Wheelers have been in life threatening situations so far this season. You have Karen & Ted with the demo, Holly with Vecna in Camazotz and Nancy with the lab and melting building. Mike, however, has not been in much danger. I guess you could argue that the demo in ‘The Sorcerer’ was his situation but compared to the others it seems really mild.

• Mike not only parallels Max but a part of him parallels another one of Vecna’s victims. Fred. You remember the face injury he got from Billy in Starcourt? Doesn’t it look like/have similar placement to Fred’s face scar.

• We know that music is one of the ways of getting away from Vecna and who has a scene talking about music?? Mike

• I have also seen someone point out that teens didn’t really drink coffee in the ‘80s (I wouldn’t know, I’m going off what other people have said). What do you normally drink coffee for?? A lack of sleep. And nightmares (a vecna symptom) can cause the lack of sleep. What have we seen Mike with not once but twice. Coffee.

• He is also close to both El and Will so it would make sense for Vecna to go for him. This may have also been foreshadowed by Kali when she is talking about her friends having been killed by the military she says something along the lines of “Mike will die”. If you take this then we have potential proof of his life being in danger in episode eight.

• And my final piece of evidence is when Vecna appears for the first time in The Sorcerer. It cuts from Joyce to Vecna and kinda zooms in one his face and an alarm kinda noise starts to ring and then it cuts to Mike on one of the rings, then we get 2 more. So three overall when we see Mike on screen.

What else is has an alarm?? A clock. And what other association with clocks does Mike always have?? He’s always late at the beginning of a season. This could symbolise that they (the characters) and us as an audience are too late to notice the signs for his until it is too late and it is already happening. Who else is associated with clocks?? Vecna.
