Shopping shopping! The ladies love it don’t they! I am no exception…I love to shop but I do try to be reasonable with my purchase decisions and always try to look out for sales. This haul is a mixture of both needs and wants. Hope you enjoy :)  

I have a lot of guy friends and every now and then they say things like, “must be nice being a girl, getting so much male attention and all. I would feel so special if men just wanted me blah blah!”

I’m not gonna sit here and type a bold lie claiming that we women do not like being noticed, yes we do. We love receiving the occasional compliments and it’s also really nice when strangers do it too but a compliment is just a compliment and the one receiving does not owe anyone anything.

It was just this past Wednesday when I went to the mall for a quick little errand. Took my combi and got off right where the combi drivers and their friends hang out. Sigh! I honestly kinda knew someone was gonna try harass me, I just felt it in my gut…but I’m a big girl and I had this sorted. I walked on head high and avoiding all possible eye contact but I heard that “psssst!”

Oh lord why, why me, why now….

“Pssst! I’m talking to you”, He tries to grab me by the arm but I quickly see it coming and dodged. Let’s be honest here, it’s a lil creepy to see a stranger try to grab you by the arm.

About a minute later I had made it into the mall safe and sound, well that’s what I thought but before I knew it someone grabbed me by the waist and pulled me in close!  

It was that pesky guy from earlier…I got startled and really angry and hit him on the neck. This guy proudly walked away laughing like he did nothing. I felt so belittled and angry. How is it ok to follow a lady around and start grabbing her while fully knowing that she will not like it. Why must we always walk around in fear of being harassed by peole we do not know!

You know I love something if I blog about it twice, this dress is making it’s second appearence on my blog and this time it actually has a twin sister. I bought this dress from Mr price as a reward for being able to save for my camere.

The dress became one of my fave things in the closet and I guess it also had Barati at hello :) We got together and decided to film ways in which we style our fave lace dress
