Why do you want this job?

She almost rolled her eyes, it was the one question every place asked. The Mexican restaurant she applied to when she was 16 asked the same question, what did they expect? I’ve actually dreamed to serve soggy knock off tacos all my life, ever since I was seven and my mom brought me here after my father got sent to prison.

“I am not going to lie and say that I want to pursue a career in the music industry, although it does sound quite tempting. The reason I applied is because I am a sucker for starting artists and I actually do have experience with the struggle in starting something from scratch. You might like to know that I, like many other people might tell you, grew up in a rough neighborhood and I know the kind of determination and hard work it takes to get to a goal that can seems impossible. I know I wont be working with the artists themselves, but even if I can help get a little of the weight of your shoulders, I will be helping make their career a smoother process.”

What is something that many people don’t know about you?

There were so many things she could say to make the blonde boy satisfied with the interview. She could talk about her personal life, her dad, her brothers, her abortion, her inability to accept love.
